This was an incredible spot to pick up a nice souvenir. Yes, you are paying a bit more than your Salvation Army, Savers, Goodwill or other Boutique Thrift Stores, it is not by much. If you're not in the states that much and you're already locked into the touristy experience of NYC, it is really not that much more.
The selection is really curated; there is not a lot of stuff with extreme flaws - they had an excellent selection of Carhartt everything, affordable vintage tees and button ups, and a lot of jackets. Fitting rooms were very efficient and the lineups were not too bad - even on a Saturday.
My haul was (in USD): A Carhartt WIP Faux Shearling Jacket (Men's Large) - $99.99, MSRP $200+, lightly worn A Lululemon Short Sleeve Button Down - $9.99 (MSRP $40+, like new) A Mammut Softshell Jacket - $14.99 (MSRP $200+, like new) A Bogner XL Winter Jacket - $60 (MSRP $300+, lightly worn)
I paid close to $200 for a great deal of value. You will find value and a great piece for a keepsake/souvenir if you're looking for it. They also had your textbook new york brand like Supreme tees, but at vintage prices. Keep in mind that they do not claim that the items they source are authentic, so if it seems a little too good to be true - it often is.
You would do well to bring cash and stick to a budget, as they charge a small but annoying fee for credit transactions.
All in all, I would love to have spent more time in this change of stores - they had some incredible stuff! Absolutely worth going to for anyone who enjoys great...
Read moreL Train has single handedly gotten me more "Damn where did you get that from lil bro it looks fire..." than any other clothing store in Manhattan, and on an inflation buster budget.
I'm so sick and tired of going into a "vintage" store where T-shirts are $100 and up. It goes against the whole ethos of vintage clothing smh. The whole fun of shopping vintage is coming up on a piece for the low. Shirts at L train are typically between $8-$15, unless they're hanging up on the wall then they will run you ahahaha.
They have such a big inventory and wide selection of items that it may get overwhelming, but if you come in here locked in and keep your composure you will come up on something forsure. Go during the week though if possible, it's a ZOO on the weekends you'll be fighting for your life.
I have gotten my 3 favorite pairs of jeans here for under $40 total, the velvet suit jacket I'm wearing in the attached pic for $12, some Lebron 3s that have become my outdoor hoop shoes for $40, and more shirts than I can count.
L Train is so great, in fact, that it has almost become cool to hate on. If you're lowkey insecure about your homie having a better fit on than you, you try to get ahead of it and clown him by saying "You hit L Train today, huh?"
THANK YOU L TRAIN! PLEASE DON'T SWITCH UP!

I recently visited the L Train Vintage store in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and I was impressed with the selection of merchandise. The store is divided into several sections, including men's, women's, and children's clothing, as well as accessories, home goods, and jewelry. There is something for everyone at L Train Vintage, whether you are looking for a classic piece of vintage clothing or something more unique.
The prices at L Train Vintage are very reasonable. I found a number of great deals on clothes, including a pair of vintage Levi's jeans for $10 and a 1970s maxi dress for $20. The staff at the store was also very friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer my questions about the merchandise and help me find the perfect pieces.
