The review is simply to help & offer sisters considering this location to not make it their first option because the mosque does not accommodate women. I came with a sister for jummah after reading such nice reviews (prolly from brothers) but upon arrival learned they don't have a prayer area for women or bathroom area for women to do their wudu. It was beautiful to see so many brothers praying and filling up the streets even. But was sad to learn they only place to pray was the office which had 4 women in there cramped. I was happy to pray but no bathroom for women made the experience much uncomfortable. Hopefully they can add this to their description so women can have the option to go somewhere else. I pray they can expand and consider the sisters...
Read moreThis is a great masjid if you’re a man, but if you’re a woman? Not so much. Women are literally put in a corner behind a curtain which can fit maybe 4-5 women. When I asked for the bathroom, no one knew where there women’s bathroom was! It took over 10 mins of me having to ask around for a bathroom & someone came up to me & said they found it and unlocked it for me. At that point I was FED UP & left & went to the Starbucks down the street. I come from a masjid that gives equal space & options for both genders so to see this was quite alarming. Did you guys skip over the part where it mentioned women should have an equal space as men? Or are you too ignorant & suppressant towards the women of your community to even care for their needs...
Read moreThis masjid smells so bad, I got in to pray Isha and it ended up praying only Maghreb and I left due to the smell, I got sick the whole night right after I left without praying ishaa, please take all the carpets out and leave it in the sun for long time because it’s rusty and the entrance is smell soooooo bad.
