This was by far the worst/most unprofessional lab experience I have ever had. I told the technician that I have a history if fainting, and she sighed, looked exasperated, and said “well, I have other patients”—as if to say I would be inconveniencing her if I passed out. I told her I couldn’t help it, and she replied “you can sometimes”. She also informed me that she would be taking “a LOT” of blood because I had so many tests—which was unhelpful and only made my anxiety worse.
I asked her if there was somewhere I could lay down (to avoid fainting) and she said no—even though there was a cushioned bench in the other room (like what most dr. offices have for patients to lay down on).
I barely made it through I had to lay on the floor to keep from passing out. Then I asked if I could lay on the bench in the other room. She said no at first, but eventually let me go in there after getting upset that I was on the floor/telling me rudely to get up.
She never asked if I was okay, was just very rude, exasperated and was frustrated that I was inconveniencing her. Making an already anxious patient feel even worse about something that they cant control, and make no effort to accommodate/help them even after they asked, is a perfect example of how not to...
Read moreNever go back to this place. Management/ Administration needs to fire everyone there starting with the manager. Went there for the first time and they were all so busy giving me a hard time, first I made my appointment online the day before and they didn’t find me on the system, second, They made my doctor fax the order even when I was showing it to them. After they got the fax, then the excuse was that my last name wasn’t the same on the insurance, manager came to tell me they couldn’t do it. After an hour dealing with all this unprofessional people I decided to leave and go to a different lab, I don’t know what was the problem but I got it done with no excuses at the other place! I am an employee, manager, Office supervisor and business owner, and it gets me real upset when I see people not doing their job but want to get...
Read moreThe tall young woman in green scrubs with greenish grey eyes (and a lot of makeup on) & long hair at the reception on Monday 3/29 12:30pm was extremely rude to an older black female patient, who was having trouble checking in with the Kiosk. The receptionist was too busy on her phone to help her, despite a notice saying "if you have trouble with the kiosks; we are happy to check you in at the window too." She just shooed her away and told her to do it again, and again, and again. I helped the poor woman to manually enter her address, insurance, and birthday info; turned out the Kiosk couldn't scan her ID correctly. Hope she's ok: not everyone is able to read the small prints on the screen correctly, and not everyone has adapted to technology. Please hire people with human empathy, or at least a bit more...
