Solid sushi place that's not too far from my apartment. Nothing fancy or anything that knocked my socks off, but we were satisfied. They get bonus points from me for having a veggie roll on their menu that includes tofu in it (I appreciate being able to get a little protein in a vegetarian roll). Boyfriend was satisfied with his tuna avocado and salmon cucumber rolls (the latter of which was not on the menu but they happily made upon request). Our server was very nice while taking our orders, and refilled our glasses of water many times. We were there on a slightly earlier side for a Saturday evening, so it wasn't too crowded. The dining area is on the small side - I can imagine it being quite cramped when full.

They have no respect to people who’s working. These people are delivery guys and they make them to wait 20-30 min. These people don’t get hourly payment. They get payment per orders and for this restaurant it’s normal to steal from workers and give customers orders. They forget these people are waiting for customers orders too. That was a horrible experience. I gave 5 star because they were polite. They are polite and good people but it doesn’t mean you can steal people time. Don’t do it please

This is a hidden gem in Astoria, I love the place is such a beautiful small restaurant, the vibe is so warm and friendly. The staff is welcoming, the service is great and helpful. The food was so delicious, the sushi is fresh, the portions are so good and the lunch specials have various options. I loved it, one of my favorite places ✨

Update February 2025- the restaurant was kind enough to offer me to give them another try. I’m happy to report they really do care about the quality and customer experience. They did address the issue with the rice and it is much improved! If you are in Astoria, definitely stop in to try them! Thank you.

Not sure what happened. This used to be my favorite spot for 2 years straight. The quality has gone way downhill. I thought it was a fluke at first but I ordered a few more times and the quality kept falling. The rice is just too wet. The rolls fall apart before you can get them in your mouth. The rolls are also messy and it seems they have used less and less fish maybe to cut costs? This place is definitely more pricey than many in the area but I paid more for the quality and it’s just not there anymore sadly. I probably won’t be going...

I really love the food and this was so far my favorite sushi spot. Last night we place our order around 10pm, the sushi order comes and we still waiting for our appetizer (crispy mountain g), almost finish sushi and nothing comes, we finished and decide to ask the server, she said no is no coming kitchen is close. No apologies, no sorry, she gives our appetizers to another table she knew and she didn’t said anything, she had a very rude attitude. I can understand people makes mistakes but at least try to fix it or something don’t act like you don’t care about...
