This is first time in my life I have ever written a bad review about anything.
I went in for a lash lift and tint. When the tech finished, I noticed the lashes at the end of my right eye were not lifted or curled, but falling flat to the right. The lashes on my left eye looked like they were not tinted at all…. I mentioned to her that my lashes didn’t look curled at the end and she said that was because of my eye shape… I paid, tipped and went home.
I really didn’t like the way they looked so I called and asked if I could come back. When I returned, there was another lady there and honestly this review is about her.
The new lady asked me what was wrong and I just explained to her what I saw and all she had to say was that I was wrong over and over again and that my concerns weren’t valid. She just kept saying they look fine to her and that I need to put oil on the ones that look like they aren’t tinted (so that they’ll look wet, and therefore darker.) Mind you, this is all being said as shes losing her temper and giving me a nasty attitude for no reason. I’m not exactly thrilled about that and she’s says “so what do you want?!” I dont even know what do say, I suggest a partial refund, she says “NO. we don't do refunds” I’m like okay so what are my options?… She’s like we can fix it. I don’t know why she couldn’t have just said that to begin with.
The interaction got so bad that I had and say something along the lines of “I don’t know why you’re being so rude to me, I’m not here trying to give you guys a hard time. I paid for this service and all I’m trying to tell you is I don’t like how it turned out.” There was no need for all of that attitude and hostility. I would understand if I went in there looking to start trouble and get my money back, but that wasn’t the case.
I asked if it is bad to process eyelashes back to back like that and she says NO. Right as I’m about to lay for them to fix it again, she says actually can you come back in a week or two. Obviously, hair as delicate as eyelashes cannot be permed and dyed back to back. I asked her if it’s because it would be bad for my lashes and she says yes…
I asked if they would even be able to lift the end of my lashes and they said of course even though at first they told me no because it was just my eye shape???
I came to this salon not even anticipating this kind of interaction because of all of the good reviews. I don’t even care that my lashes didn’t turn out the way they were supposed to, things happen you know. But what was the reason for all of that attitude and hostility? I said thank you and left even though I will not be returning even for them to fix their mistake.
Really a shame and a waste of my time and money. No...
Read moreMy first interaction with thus facility was amazing. Had great feedback from friends and relatives. Overall had an amazing experience. However, my last experience was very unpleasant. I did a 3 week refill (which I had done before), and started noticing a couple of days later lashes were falling off. I do understand that some lashes can fall off and it is completely normally. Yet, this time around about 50% of my lashes came off after the refill. I called to explain what had happened and of course just wanting a little bit more of information. Maybe different glue or different lash material or so. When I came in for an "evaluation" the lash tech stated I need to get a whole new because the previous set was about 5months old. I did mention to the lash tech this was never mentioned to me, she replied "clients don't like to be told this". ?????I am sorry, but I am confused. This was never mentioned to me. As a customer; instead of doing a refill and not saying anything you should have told me to do a whole new set at my previous visit. I wouldn't have done a refill , but a whole new set (fresh). She literally had no words to say but said I can refill but it will be $50. I am sorry but I just paid $80 plus tip the week before; she could have been a bit more accommodating. Definitely not going back. Sad to say because I really...
Read moreThe worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been getting lash extensions for 2 years (different salons) and never experienced this much falling out almost right away. Day 1 about 20 lashes fell off, day 2 - another 10. I’ve also never experienced this much burning and itching in my eyes afterwards. Change your glue.
My lashes were done by a student, not a salon owner and I never consented to be experimented on nor did it reflect in the price. Throughout the whole process the owner was telling her what to do and how to fix things. When removing glue from the previous lash extensions I had, she repeatedly wiped my eyes with a dry paper towel to get it off, can you imagine the sensitive skin of your eyes repeatedly wiped with dry paper? Then she told me to get up and go to the bathroom to wash it off with water. You never heard of cotton swabs and eye make up removers??
I will never be back to this salon which is a shame because I live close by and I was really hoping I wouldn’t have to travel far anymore to get...
