I went to this beauty salon because I was based on the photos and Instagram reviews. And it was the worst experience of my life. I had my hair long and it was dark brown, the only thing I was looking for was to begin the process of lightening my hair a little from dark brown to a lighter brown. I called the beauty salon and asked for an appointment for 2pm and they gave me an appointment with "Mau" I assume his name is Mauricio, I asked if he was good because on the Instagram page they didn't have any work from him and the receptionist assured me that He was terrific. I believed her and went. I arrived at 2pm and this "Mau" arrived at 2:45 pm. I explained what I wanted to him:” I don't want lot of bleaching on my hair, I want my process slow, even if I can just do a base I’m fine with that”. He told me "NO I need to do some bleaching or else your hair is going to have three different colors" I believe him and said ok let do it. I was confident because I thought I was in a good beauty salon again base on reviews and Instagram. When he watched my hair the first time, I notice that my hair was BURN he left the bleach for too long and completely ruined my hair. with this been said I asked if my hair was burned and he answer my with a very bad attitude "I'm not done" definitely he was not because he make sure my hair was completely messed up before I left that place. He gave me a haircut that not even my youngest son will cut my hair this bad. Not happy with that they charge me $ 300 for the worst night mare of my life, all I wanted was to get my hair shade lighter, there was no need to cut my hair so bad and short, of course he cut it so short because it was burned and his easy way out was to chopped all my hair off. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR SELF AT RISK GOING TO THIS PERSON HE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING AS HAIR STALYST, since he obviously does not know what he is doing. I left that place traumatized and extremely depressed. I would not wish this on anybody. It took a month to be able to write this reviewed, my hair is not only short and uneven but it’s very burn it will take me months and money to try to fix a little what he did. If could suit the owner this hair salon I would for having people so unprofessional an inexperienced working, there. Leonardo when you read this reviewed investigate your appointments book and check on 09/03/2020 at 2pm who was scheduled with this "Mau" so you will see that this review is real! I will post this everywhere to make sure that nobody else goes through what I went through at your BUSINESS, after reading this make sure you take a look into the staff you have under your name, because I don’t think you want to hurt your name like that. I not only expand $300 dollars and expend a whole day in a beauty salon because I left that place at 9pm with the worse look of my life, I’m posting before and after pictures so who ever read this reviewed could understand how depressing would be that a hairstylist not only damage your hair but cut in such of bad way that a month after I steel cannot go anywhere because everybody is asking me who ruined your...

Negative: Had a similar negative experience regarding price accuracy and transparency. Over the phone I was told the cost for a women's haircut for thick long hair with layers is $50. The website says a haircut includes "Women's custom haircut and style." Upon checking out, I was very surprised to be charged $90. They said a style wasn't included in the price and the style was $40. My hair is thick and a lot to work with so I didn't rebut and paid it. Though I did politely suggest they update their website. I was disappointed they got defensive and said, that's why they post their prices physically in the salon. As a customer having called and checked the website regarding pricing, it's not customer oriented to expect us to check a third data point to understand how much the haircut will cost.

My haircut was fine but rushed, and even more so after I had to ask the stylist to cut my layers higher after not confirming the shortest length upon the first cut. The style was definitely not for me, we didn't discuss preference at all (heavy layered 1950's flip out), but maybe some folks like that. She did do an excellent job smoothing my frizzy hair during the style.

I’ve spent a few thousands going to this salon for over 5 years I loved everyone from the team they always did everything just right with so much care and reassurance, just for a new team of stylist I’m not familiar with to ruin my hair then BLAME ME because I was not satisfied with them frying my hair and rushing a trim and that I now have thin layers in a mullet shape when I walked in with a cute brunette pixie. I was forced to pay before seeing the final results. My scalp was burnt and red when I got home. I walked out the salon crying and put my beanie on, I tried to let the color work on me for a few days but I just did not like the bright white roots and brassy tips. I eventually tinted my hair with semi color pink to uplift my depression and be confident to go to school and work. I came back a month later to let my hair heal and breathe for this random stylist to argue with me with a sliver of me getting told I’ll get my money back for the service that was not given but pay for. Then they got the male receptionist to kick me out and reject the refund. Not even a haircut that I needed badly. Do not come here if you do not speak Spanish.
