Updated review 12/6/21: I have been a few times now and It’s really a 50/50 shot whether you get a good nail tech. While I am sure they all have the skill, I am particular about how my nails are handled and not everyone is as meticulous as Yoko was when I had my first appointment. Today was not great because I was there for almost an HOUR just soaking off my gel Xtension nails which were done by this salon I might add. I have never in my life waited an hour to get them soaked off so I am pretty sure they forgot about me for a while. I was entertaining myself for a good part of it but when I finished my book, I realized I had been waiting so long and no one checked on my soaking. They did notice once I started looking around impatiently and helped me right away but had to soak twice and at this point I was over it.

Nail art- would recommend Skye or Yoko. Only a few are actually able to do good nail art.

Appointments- easy to book but they really need to be mindful of who actually is a nail artist when you tell them you specifically want art done. I went one weekday and Yoko was not in but my appointment was for nail art. I had a tech who could not do most of the design I asked for so we had to improvised. It turned out okay but I am not looking for just okay when I am paying for nail art.

Staff- everyone is nice and friendly and I think they treat their staff well because it’s always a nice vibe.

Overall, my review went from 4 to 2 stars as they are only great half the time that I have been there.

Review OCTOBER 2021: Absolutely one of my fav nail salons and I think will become my go-to for nail art. I have been looking forever for a place to do this particular style with Japanese gel; nail extensions with a clear design as shown. Yoko was my nail tech and did such a perfect job! They have regular and Japanese gel. Their extensions can either be sculpted or use the GelX pre-made extensions, which I used. GelX is great bc it is made from Japanese gel as well.

Easy to book appointments (was able to book mine same day), meticulous nail techs, great service...

I’m not one to leave bad reviews lightly. I appreciate their effort to try to do what I was hoping for and I totally understand that these nail techs learn through doing nails and repetition. But, I asked ahead of time if they had a nail tech who was capable of doing the art I wanted. They absolutely cannot do 3D nail art and when I asked them to confirm they could, they said of course and then the woman who did my nails didn’t even look at my inspo pic for more than a second and they were messy and poorly done (they looked like I’d had the nails on for 3 weeks the second they finished doing them, that’s how messy). The edges looked chipped and messy, you could see the black paint under the chrome on all of my nails. The gel balls were inconsistent(I know they’re not meant to be perfect but they were actually messy, I’m not being a perfectionist) and the 3D art fell off in 5 days and then they ghosted me when I messaged them about it. The first time I went in the lady who did my nails gave me cat eye even though I said chrome and then they charged me more for chrome when I said she did it wrong. I happily tipped both times because I am not a monster and I know these individuals are working on my nails for an hour and deserve the money for labor. It’s nothing personal but it’s frustrating that I asked ahead to make sure there was someone who could do it. I wouldn’t have been upset if they said they weren’t confident that they could do it at all. They’re probably a great place to go for basic nails but they can’t do 3D even though they say they can and they’ll charge you the same price as a place that...

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I can’t! I went on November 28th to get gel extensions and by December 6th (a week later) one had chipped, another had just completely come off, and the other fingers were loose and on the verge of falling off. I decided that before I wrote a review I would go back to talk to them to figure something out and the manager was far from helpful. I asked for a partial refund because my nail tech did spend time on my nails and did a good job on the design but she wouldn’t agree to that. Instead she offered to remove them and then to give me a gel base, this is not the service I had originally paid for and in fact costs less. When I asked if I could possibly make another appointment to get the same service done she said sure and that she would give me a discounted price. I proceeded to tell her that I should not have to pay again and that they should redo them for me at no cost and she told me that she couldn’t do that. She then offered me the removal and gel base again and I told her that I didn’t want it. I considered the removal but she told me it would take at least 20 minutes to remove them, I decided not to because I was able to pop them off with no damage to my nail in 20 seconds. I have done a better job with press on nails from rite aid that lasted longer than these. After spending 15 minutes in store and realizing I would get no resolution, I grew frustrated and left. I spent $111 and 15% tip for gel nails that should have lasted at least a month but came off within a week. Not worth the money. Go somewhere else where they will charge you less for...

Last time I set foot in this place. The owner guy is the absolute worst. This is the second time this happens. Got my nails done on Sunday. Simple gel design (see pic). By Monday AM 2 of my nails start coming off. I pop by asking if it can get fixed. Theres no technician available, so I’m asked to leave my number to get a call when there’s availability. No call. On Wednesday I call and offer to pop by. The same owner guy makes A RIDICULOUSLY HUGE FUSS ABOUT FIRST TEXTING PICS OF THE NAILS AND RECEIPT BEFORE I CAN GET MY NAILS FIXED CAUSE THATS THE PROCESS (which apparently changed since Monday, which I note). I do that and it’s obvious I’ve been asked to send this to a landline. I pop by the shop and it’s absolutely empty. More fuss about getting 2 nails fixed. I finally do after getting gaslighted and dismisses multiple times for 2 NAILS. This is the second time my manicure gets ruined in few days and have to go through these hardships to get them fixed. Other places are not this difficult or at least don’t make you look like a dumb person. Just say you don’t do nail fixing and own up to it. Don’t let customers go in circles for nothing cause that’s the best way to lose business. Don’t recommend. Don’t be fooled by how busy it always is. The quality of the services but most important customer service is appalling

Came here for the first time even though I lived in the neighborhood for over 5 years. Pics of the salon and what is on social media doesn’t match the vibe in real life. Yes, they have a lot of polish to select from. I started with an older asian woman tech who didn’t seem very happy with her job/life but I can tell she knew what she was doing. Then I got switch to another non Asian woman tech in the middle of my polish removal. I can tell this woman didn’t really know what she was doing. My manicure ended up being uneven shaped nails with gel polish on my cuticles. Even though she used builder gel, she didn’t use the gel polish to build on my nails to build up the indentations on my natural nails. So when you ask for builder gel, it is just the type of polish they use and it has nothing to do with the manicure technique. Some of my polished nails were not smooth, and it had tiny air bubbles. As you can see from the pics, my nails were shaped either unevenly or odd (different lengths, crooked, and or jagged). Overall it was a terrible manicure experience, and I will not be back. I think this salon specifically is very technician dependent because I did see other girlies with nice manicure, and they asked for “hard gel” instead of “builder gel” which is closer to a Russian manicure.
