I had a very disappointing experience at this shop and won’t be returning. On a previous visit, I bought two pairs of earrings and had a great time browsing. This time was the opposite. I was interrupted multiple times by the sales associate—even after I said I didn’t need help. After trying on a few pairs, she told me, “You can’t try them all,” and made me point out each pair I’d tried so she could clean them in front of me. It felt accusatory and uncomfortable. I understand the importance of hygiene, but the way it was handled felt more like policing than customer service. A simple heads-up about the shop’s policy would’ve gone a long way. In 2024 I am shocked that I was followed throughout the shop, and understood the lack of greeting and judgmental face we received was a micro aggression. The sales associate hovered over us as we shopped without saying a word. I am absolutely disgusted, hate has no place in Park Slope or anywhere for that matter! From lovely purses to Brooklyn-themed items like umbrellas, to delicate AND funky jewerly, this shop truly has everything. I definitely recommend popping in when you need a gift or just want to treat yourself to a little something. While offerings lean towards items for women, there are gifts men and children would appreciate just as much.
