So today after a tiring indoor soccer game I was excited to see that a Just Salad was open right around the corner. I WAS a loyal customer and have spent a huge amount of money at other just salad locations. However, this was my first time at this specific location and my LAST time in any Just Salad. It was very clear to me that I, the customer, was not important to the staff. When entering the store I greeted the staff and asked where the proper station to place my order was. The person behind the bar ( the one who made the salads told me to go to the side). Then, after standing there for 5 minutes waiting to place my order, the person who I believe is the manager said to me with an attitude "oh he didn't tell you we're closed" then proceeded to lash out at the worker who had begun to put on gloves because I believe he was about to take my order. She told him "why didn't you tell him we were closed". Disgusted, I left the establishment. I will NO LONGER be a proud customer of Just Salad. Instead, I will terminate any future transactions with Just Salad without hesitation due to my horrible experience. For those customers who also feel VALUELESS at Just Salad I encourage you to suspend further relationships with Just Salad until they hire proper staff (RUDE MANAGER) who at least have a basic understanding of customer service . I hope the manager and those in superior positions take this review seriously and I hope the worker who was going to attempt to take my order find a better job where he is treated with respect from...
Read moreThere are several Just Salad locations in NYC that are great, but the Park Slope location is a disaster. Terrible customer service, routinely deliver salads over an hour after the quoted delivery time, impossible to reach when there's a problem with the order, and on three different occasions have left the main ingredient out of a salad. As in- we ordered a crispy poblano chicken salad and when it came, 90 minutes later, there was no chicken in it. It amazes me that I keep ordering from here, but the food at other locations is delicious so I keep wanting to give them another try. Our most recent order of four salads was still missing after 90 minutes (quoted delivery time was 30-40 min) and when I called, I was placed on hold for 17 minutes. I was finally connected to the store, and they said they couldn't help, didn't apologize, didn't have any explanation for the delay, and we’re totally rude. For $16 a salad from a place down the block, you'd expect either accurate orders, or quick delivery, or good service...or something. Sadly, Just Salad does nothing right. A dozen chances is too many,...
Read moreJust Salad literally the salad bar of my dreams. They offer plentiful salad options, wraps, smoothies, soups, bowls and more. The ingredients were fresh and bursting with flavor. I ordered the crispy chicken poblano salad and the avo blast toast- a combo deal for less than $15. They have a “you pick 2” option where you can choose a medium salad and a smoothie, wrap, soup, chips & drink, etc. What a steal! The portions were large enough that I had leftovers. Both were beautifully prepared by a prep cook named Miles, and everything exceeded my expectations. If I lived near a Just Salad, I would probably eat here daily.
What I love most about Salad Bar, however, goes beyond my taste buds. Salad Bar is committed to sustainability and promotes zero waste and plant-based diets. Everything is served in compostable materials, and they even offer reusable salad bowls. Just Salad is also on Too Good To Go, an app committed to the reduction of food waste. Ordering through that app is a great option for those of us on a tight budget. If you are a salad queen like me, you need to try Just Salad as soon...
