Madewell — Local services in New York

First of all I just wanna say y’all made my day after a semi-bad/awkward experience at another store in SOHO today. Second of all, I wanna shout out to the gorgeous black lady that helped me pick out the jeans today. She was so freaking patient, so freaking attentive, and just generally so freaking awesome. She literally made my day!!! I’m sad that I didn’t ask for her name(is her name Sylvia?? I attached a pic). Store manager if you see this please treat her with something nice or give her a bonus or something - because it is people like her that keeps me returning to Madewell buying jeans that I can’t afford! What a great role model she is for people in sales! I was hot, sweaty, and probably looked like shit when I walked in.and I tried on at least 5 pairs of jeans. She treated me like a freaking queen!!!

Love the staff and manager at this location. I purchased a pair of sunglasses from a different location that I wanted to return - i tried to return at this location, and they were very accommodating (spent 10 minutes working with me) and assured me id be able to get store credit if I went back to the original location I bought them at since I didn’t have a receipt. I really appreciated how helpful they were and the overall energy from the manager and staff....

a lot less items on display than the old soho location. now it’s just top floor for women with very sparse shelves and what feels like 80% less things to choose from compared to old location where it’s all stocked up on both floors, which is kinda contradictory because the new store looks...
