Magnificent nail and beauty salon — Local services in New York

My friend and I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon. After inquiring about prices and certain nail designs with the front desk, we decided to get gel manicure and pedicure. I went with a simple mani while my friend wanted more complex designs. While mine got started, my friend was still explaining her desired designs. However, it became somewhat tense between her and her nail tech (Phoebe) while they were discussing. My friend was ultimately not comfortable and, thus, decided not to continue. They gave her a separate chair to sit on my other side. I decided to get a pedicure elsewhere with her. My nail tech Wing was efficient throughout the whole process. Another perk is that she gave me a light massage as well. No complaints with my final results! I paid $33 total, not including tips. I mostly liked the modern and clean atmosphere of the space. However, my friend alleged that they didn't give me a proper pampered experience: soaking hands at the beginning and asking my nail shape (my nails are cut rather short prior to this so maybe that...

I came here 2 times the past September 2024 for my anniversary nails and for my boyfriends birthday. The staff was so nice and for my first time being there, they were welcoming and warming…my dads a nail tech but i didnt get a chance to go to him due to time and distance so going to another nail tech was nerve-racking.

Anywho, i forgot who did my nails both times but they were both gentle and were great artists. The ladies took their time to shape and design my nails and i left the place super happy and pleased. It was on the pricy side ($90+ for the sets in the pictures ive attached) which is why i havent gone back (im on a tight budget) but i just wanted to say this is a lovely place and i would go back if and when i have money😭

Oh, and when i had to let the gel set under the uv light, both ladies gave me a shoulder massage which was GREATLY appreciated. I loved it and it made me wish my walk back home wasnt long because i was ready to...

I was here for nail removal. I was assigned to the lady sitting on the right side second- desk, I believe her name was Phoebe. My request was not to go too deep when filing my nails (as my friend had a damaged nail experience where the nail technician over filing her nails in another store).

Anyway, there was a miscommunication between the nail technician (Phoebe) and myself (I was communicating with her in Chinese and my use of words confuse her), she raised her voice, very annoyed, and told me to get up and move to another desk and asked someone else to help me. I don’t think anyone should be treated like this!!!!

I was shocked. She was extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and DISRESPECTFUL. I was speechless with her behaviors.
