What a God-send! Marcella and her Medi-Pedi Staff are literally feet angels.
Not only was the location pristine and extremely hygienic, but the vibe that the staff emit was one of cohesion and compassion.
I went into Medi-Pedi after 2+ years of being unable to attend to my feet due to a series of foot/ankle surgeries that prevented me from doing so.
My tech was Kimany and she, as well as the establishment, exceeded my expectations of what a âmedical pedicuristâ is.
Itâs a wayyyyyy better experience than what your local nail tech can provide for your feet.
The Quality is WORTH the Price.
My feet have never felt as soft and my toesâ nail beds look better than ever before.
Being there was also extremely comforting and healing from within.
From start to finish, from the front desk ladies, to my medical pedicurist, to Marcela herself, I felt an overwhelming sense of understanding and ease through the very thorough session.
I know the Universe sent me to them for more than just the physical aesthetics, but as reminder that when you live from the heart and put that heart into what it is that you choose to create, amazing things can happen and you can meet just as amazing people along the way.
Marcela is the embodiment of heart and she pumps every bit of her Soul into her business and into ensuring her clients leave satisfied on all fronts.
For anyone considering going to Medi-Pedi because your local nail tech just is way out of her league when it comes to truly addressing your feetâs aesthetic needs, then take this as your SIGN that you need to book a session at Medi-Pedi NYC!!
Oh, and lastly I just want to take the opportunity to comment on my payment experience.
It went seamlessly!
Keep in mind that they will call to ask for payment the day before in order to hold the room for you.
In addition to my session I also purchased an additional session for a relative as a gift.
Let me just let you know, if you ever want to âsurpriseâ someone with the gift of a medical pedicure, be smart and do as I did, DIRECTLY PURCHASE A GIFT CARD OFF OF THEIR SITE.
In fact I did that for both sessions and just gave the gift card codes for my form of payment the day before.
Done.
Quite simple and less complicated for all!

Iâve known Marcella for over 12 years and have been a loyal client of this place since my days as a professional athlete. Iâve always admired her work. sheâs incredibly skilled, and truly one of a kind. For many years, this was one of my favorite places to go. The experience, the service, and the team were all exceptional. Unfortunately, thatâs no longer the case.
Over the past two years, the quality has drastically declined. Iâm not sure if Marcella sold the business or simply stepped away, but something has definitely changed and not for the better.
The front desk staff, once friendly and efficient, are now untrained, disorganized, and at times robotic. Theyâll ask for your name three times before checking you in, and the warmth that once made this place special is gone. The overall experience has lost all of its charm and attention to detail.
As for the services, unless youâre lucky enough to get Rodrigo (who is still excellent), youâre gambling with who youâll be assigned. I once got a technician I didnât know, and the service was so poor I almost didnât return. I only gave it another shot because Rodrigo was available and heâs someone Marcella has trusted with my care in the past.
The pricing model has also changed, and not in a way that respects clients. Youâll book a service expecting one price, and without warning, be charged more after the fact. Instead of informing you upfront about any potential add-ons, they now apply extra charges at the end claiming things like âmore calluses than expectedâ as justification. Thatâs not how you treat customers. I build homes for a living, if I ever completed work and surprised a client with extra charges after the fact, Iâd lose their trust immediately. And rightfully so.
This place has become a case study in what happens when a business tries to scale too fast and forgets the foundation that made it great.
Sadly, Iâm done. Iâve given it more than one chance since Marcellaâs absence became noticeable, and itâs only gotten worse. I wonât be returning.

   Read moreThis place was AWESOME!! The whole entire experience was so worth the money. I will skip the fancy expensive salons any day for this experience. First as I was approaching the office, I get a phone call letting me know my room was ready and disinfected. So that made me feel confident right off the bat. When I walked in, the office manager introduced herself, took my temperature and then kindly asked me to use some hand sanitizer to clean my hands. She then escorted me to my clean room and brought me some really good ice cold water. As I was sitting down the lady attending me Sarhala ( I really hope I got her name right cuz she was TRULY AWESOME) put some music on and made me feel very comfortable. I didnât want to take my shoes off because I was very embarrassed. But she assured me and reassured me and sure enough I showed her my feet t. She didnât recoil or react, she just said, well, all we need to do is love them a little and I can see her smile under her mask. She went to work right away and halfway through Marcela came in and did some work as well. Both women were very kind, funny, witty, honest, and above all, a beautiful quirky sense of humor that made me feel welcomed. Iâm so happy with my service that I bought a pack. I wonât be going back to regular pedicures no matter how high end or fancy or what latest and greatest technique they use or what celebrity they work on. I will ALWAYS go back to Marcela. I trust her as if she were my mother or aunt. Iâm EXTREMELY picky and have trust issues when it comes to services like this. But not here. Right away Marcela told me what I needed to restore my nails and it felt so genuine. Nothing salesman type or anything. Just straight up, what I needed, how much of it, and how to use it properly and effectively. And she encouraged me to take before and after pics every month so I myself can see my progress and keep going with my treatment. Iâm so glad I found this place. I DEFINITELY recommend it.
