In terms of stock and just about every employee, the place is great. At the back counter, however, you have a very miserable person by the name of "Ines" (Ines?). Was just in there and not only did she seem terse and annoyed by me, a paying customer, she was being very disrespectful to someone in pharmacy staff who was respectfully asking her a question. Maybe it's her time of the month or what have you. But, picking up on her unfriendliness, I made sure to make our encounter as uncomfortable as possible. My total came to $10.19. With $11 at the ready, I put back the dollar bill and proceeded to count out 19 pennies very slowly, making sure to drop a few just to prolong our miserable encounter. The more impatient and angry her comportment became, the slower my pace would get. I'll never, for the life of me, understand the inherent contradiction of someone not being the bare minimum of polite working in customer service. I live, literally, around the corner and, as a small business owner myself, much prefer to give this place my business. But, from my experience, Rahara and the folks at the Walgreens across the street offer some reciprocity when you're polite and kind. They do carry one product that none of the chain pharmacies doesn't that I'll need about once a month (no pun intended). So I'll be more prepared for my next encounter with Ms Ines. Gonna go to the bank an get a roll of nickels and count them out one by one, purposely forgetting the count a few times, just to watch her lose it. Then again, maybe I'll just go a different time of month and, maybe, she'll be in a...
Read moreReally, really what is wrong with the Latin guy that preres the shelves. Every time he informes me in a rude way that they are closing. The store used to be open until late. Then because of the pandemic they changed the hours and it closed at 630, then at 530, today he informed me that they close at five. Let me inform you young man. When a store closes it closes its doors and then they serve the last customer. It doesn't mean that everyone has to be out of the building at five. Most of the team here is bored all the time. Give up some more excitement, you cannot continue doing business like this, everyone is working you cannot close your doors with everybody out sharp at five. My hobby is wet shaving, have spend thousands of dollars in your store, and in the last months you are not willing to do business. If you are going to continue like this you will close the business altogether. Most of the staff is in a bored nowdays unwilling to help clients. This is unexplainable! Period. Btw the pandemic is over! New review as of 06/08/2024 still one star! Today June 8th you are closed even though you state that you will be closed on Saturdays from June the 15th. Worst management of a store ever. Just close the store altogether and be an online retailer, anyways you don't bring new products in for example you are so behind in Los Jambones de Jossera and you haven't brought new products in for...
Read moreSo I started working in this area in October of last year and strolled over to the local Duncan Donuts and notice wet shaving supplies in the window. I stroll in and they have my 2 go to creams, Perasso and Taylor’s. I purchase a tub of Taylor’s and keep it moving, resonably priced I might add. I occasionally peak in to see what they have and low and behold they have the Parker Variant, which I recently read reviews on. Well since it is priced competitively, I purchase it along with some other shaving items to take home to test on my next shave. Well the razor is top notched, BBS with a Derby Platinum Blade on a setting of 31/2, 2 passes and a clean up using Perasso Sensitive cream and an Edwin Jagger Silver Tip. Since then I have purchased a Rockwell 6C that I purchased today. Their prices are competitive, rare for the ability to “get it now” and not online. Most impressive is the Owner Leon who is not only engaging, but has a plethora of knowledge of Wet Shaving and Products as well as the vast selection of products in store . I would still be there chatting if we both didn’t have prior agendas for the day. This is now my go to spot for Wet Shaving and to meet my new friend, the owner Leon who...
