Meet U Nail Spa — Local services in New York

I've been serviced Meet U nail&spa about 5 times but last visit was by far the worst service I've ever received. They made me very uncomfortable and uneasy today. Everyone that knows me know I will spend whatever on a good self care day. Its why I work hard to make myself feel good.From the time I sat in the pedicure chair No one offered me a beverage but soon as another lady came in she was offered a beverage. No biggie I brought my own snacks and Ipad to keep me occupied. However Once I told the tech which Service I wanted She hesitated, then said it would be more money for gel which is fine. When I told her I needed to soak off. She then said it would be another charge. Again I said that's fine no worries. I informed her I've been there before, and knew the charges. I was getting a bit Frustrated because I come here to relax evidently, if I'm asking for add-on services, I know there's going to be a charge which is never a problem for me. My pedicure was rushed, cuticles were'nt cut and the techs overall energy was she wanted to get it over with. FYI I have beautiful feet I get compliments all the time. I know their job is tough but this wasn't the case at all. Okay she's done, Noe it's time to Pay. I handed her my card to pay before she gives me my Receipt she points at the tip suggestion, as if I was supposed to follow that. Businesses are tipped on their service whether the customer is satisfied or not a tip isn't mandatory. I was very taken back by that. I didn't have a good visit now you're shoving a tip down my throat. Not once did she ask how was my service because she didn't care. I'm not a confrontational person, so I just paid and left but my feelings were hurt and I nor my friends will be returning back. RUSHED, RUDE &...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am so disappointed and angry with the incompetent and dismissive service I received today. I had Gel X extension when I came in to this nail salon and I had been growing my nails out for 2 months, getting my nails redone often costing over 300 dollars over that 2 month period. I wanted them to file down the extension and put gel polish over my long natural nails. The woman doing my nails barely filed down the extension and started ripping and prying at my nails. I immediately told her that what she was doing would break my nail, but she continued. She broke my nail and wasted all that time and money and did not take accountability for her carelessness. What I got today was over 100 dollars which I could have done at home and did a better job. Do....

I went to get my gel nails removed here, and the lady that removed the gel polish did a very weird procedure. She used a very drying alcohol that was hurting my nails and the process felt weird. I also noticed she was taking way too long when all she has to was remove the gel polish…

A week later after getting the gel nails off, I noticed I contracted some sort of nail infection and of course connected the dots to this place. Very disgusting. Couldn’t wear any polish for about 2 weeks and had to use this nail treatment that I found online.

If you can, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!...
