One thing you should know before going here, it’s not your fancy salon that plays music with modern decor. However, the work is efficient and affordable which is what I prefer in salons. I developed a habit of coloring at home and going for a trim maybe once a year or so because of past traumas where I’ve paid good money and the trim I wanted ended up being a cut more than I asked for, terrible bleach/dye, or overpriced for a mediocre job. I’ve tried high end salons, to other neighborhood salons and never found a place I was satisfied with or even recommend. That’s until this place and Jenny! I made a mid-week appointment in the morning because I like to avoid crowds and I had the salon to myself. I’m not sure if there are any other workers as there were I think 6-8 chairs in total but I was the only customer at that time and Jenny was cutting my hair. Her husband was at the front and they were so nice and accommodating! She shampoo’d my hair for about 10-15 mins with scalp massage which was sooooo relaxing and she used this japanese conditioner on my hair that just smelled devine. She was talking to me throughout the whole process, learning about me and the style I prefer. Once in the chair, she checked with me how much to cut and asked for my consent when making suggestions with layers. She has been in business for a long time and you can tell she loves what she does. Their prices are beyond reasonable and Jenny and her husband alone will have me coming back to support their business. They are so humble and grateful for every single customers and I look forward to seeing them again...
Read moreThe place was Horrible! Most unprofessional I've ever visited. The lady was extremely rude and lied to us about being experienced with doing an ombré style and I am positive that this place is NOT licensed to be running in business and doing people's hair. I asked for an ombré and the lady did a really horrible job at it. We showed her a picture of the hair style we wanted and the results were NOTHING like what we showed her! She had to re-dye it all over again. My hair is so damaged from the coloring she did all over again when she messed it all up! She did nothing like ombré, she dyed it brown from the top and bleached the ends... the ends look horrible... I was so shocked when I saw my hair.. and on top of everything else she charged me extra for re-dying it.. She basically charged me for messing up on my hair. I told her that I wasn't satisfied with my hair at all and that I wouldnt be happy paying full price due to unsatisfaction.. the lady was very rude and start arguing with me. She kept denying the fact that she did not mess up on my hair. She didn't do her job right and she expected me to pay her extra just for fixing what she had already messed up on!... I was forced to pay full price and before leaving I asked them for a receipt and they refused to give me one... I'm sure they also lied about not having a credit card machine too. I will never visit this place again and I recommend to never come here for hair! The most unprofessional place for hair that I have visited in my entire life! Stay away!! There are tons of other places out there, just...
Read moreI been getting a few hair cut here recently and so did my wife, i would say they're very friendly. Listen to you if you need a specific way of cutting or styling, price is fair and waiting isn't so bad. (Maybe 10 minute if not alot of people getting hair cut, and maybe 30 minute to an 1hr if no appointment and doing major hair work) hair washer will also include a scalp and shoulder massage (sorry there is no special massage here so dont even think about it), please note that hair washer are expecting tips (kinda like unofficial tradition and is somewhat mandatory) since they are literally live by it...
I would recommend this place. Only issue is parking, is street parking and this location can be full at time even if it meter parking, although there is a bus stop right down the corner so is very convenient if you...
