I been many times and love coming back. I live in NYC and like bringing my friends here to see the real magic of the City as it amazes me each time.
It blows my mind as to how could magician read other people minds in the audience. Magician was able to guess what my very own friend was thinking without her giving out any info!! - he simply told her what she saw and where she was. That was true magic !! :)) My brother and I studied computer science, math and algorithms in college. At the show we were trying to compete with each-other to see if we could figure out any tricks and secrets of magic. We MAYBE got one or two that probably meant for kids as a tease, but most tricks left us speechless. ..It still makes me smile as I type this and dive into memories this show created.
Show has several magicians and each make their own show within a show. It serves all ages - some more traditional tricks for little once where it gets more and more comprehensive toward the end for those of us that seek challenges :) ..but all the tricks were truly great. Many world-famous magicians e.g Europe, Vegas and I think one might of been from Africa, travel to NYC and can be found on stage of "Monday Night Magic". Oh ..and among the audience, I saw some recognizable celebrities few times as...
Read moreGreat show. The venue was a little, err... little(!) And dated, but it sort of added to the charm as the magicians were able to walk amongst the crowd. Yes, the seating is small and not well numbered (be aware!) But once seated it's the show you are watching, not the venue (1 star off for the venue, other 4 for the show!).
Although the venue wasn't on par with a Broadway show, the acts certainly were good qaulity and some top quality magic was performed, in an intimate way rather than a large stage show. Be aware this is not a Broadway show. But if you like magic, and to have some fun and some 'wow, how did he do that's moments, it's for you.
Following the format of a comedy event, with different acts each week and an MC keeping the flow between acts, the show builds to the main event.

Read moreThe seats were a tad small and if you have a bigger bottom like myself it is a tight squeeze. Other then that it was a fantastic show for the amount spent. I would definitely recommend it. I got tickets for my boyfriends birthday because he loves Penn and Teller and he is big on magic. He loved it. He was totally fooled, as was I. It’s two hours (with a short intermission) of mind blowing tricks. My favorite was toward the end when a magician asked random people in the audience questions and then on the wall there was an envelope (since the start of the show) sealed with all the answers from the audience in it. They included the audience and made sure they reached all areas the front, middle, end. It’s also a plus that anywhere you sit you can see because the...
