Red Inside — Local services in New York

We booked a great looking italian cooking class for 2 and were very excited to show up and learn. Unfortunately my wife had an emergency medical situation and we could not attend. I messaged the chef 30 minutes before letting him know that we would be late (at that point my wife was jsut beginning to get ill) but then later she got much worse and we were not able to attend the class at all. I tried calling the chef through the number provided but no answer.

I never heard anything from the chef (call or message). We later reached out to customer support to reschedule or get a refund and they said there was nothing they could do. We tried reaching out again to clarify the situation or at least get a partial refund (since I understand they bought the food already) but we havent heard anything. They kept our full payment.

Overall it looks good on paper but the customer service is a 1 star and you can expect no response at all if anything goes wrong.

My friends and I recently did the Iron Chef cooking competition at Red Inside Culinary Studio, and let me tell you, it was a vibe! We had such a blast, seriously. Picture this: all of us, gathered in the kitchen, ready to show off our culinary skills and battle.

The chef was very skilled and totally got us hyped up for the challenge. And get this, our secret ingredient was mango! So of course we made a mango drink and mango chutney.

It was the perfect team-building activity. We bonded over cooking, laughed a ton, and ended up with delicious food.

Red Inside is a great and fun thing to do in New York City. We went with a group of six people and learned how to make delicious French foods. This cooking class is more of a relaxing and fun experience to do on a date or with friends as you are hands on with the cooking but the chef still dose the heavy lifting. The instructors or very funny and helpful. The kitchen was not just like you would cook at home and the dinning area was well decorated and homely. We really enjoyed that you were able to sit-down for breaks and have a glass of wine. After you cook they plate and serve you.
