I decided to explore the area MacDougall It's a nice busy little area that I don't think a lot of people do know about that live in the city. I wanted to get a new body jewelry for my outer crotch I've been stuck with a labret for the past five months I was punched out with 10 gauge and I thought it would be a good idea to get a double flare tunnel which would give a little bit more security than the single flare tunnel that I already had so I decided to buy it last night got home but didn't realize that it wouldn't be enough room for the piercing to breathe and would have been almost near impossible for me to clean it properly it was $20 which was a little on the pricey side I decided to come back today to see if I could get my money back he wouldn't refund me the money which was somewhat annoying because I'm limited to one or two options to what jewelry to wear and that part of my ear and opted to exchange it for another jewelry now this is where the problem comes into play I decided to go along and get tunnels for my ear blows to which I have not worn since November and I do not know what size tunnels to get but I am currently wearing 2 8 Gage Center ball bead in the in the area he did not want to take out the rings that were already in my ear after I explained I don't know what size I am to just double check to see what size I actually we're if I were to get the tunnels. And started to check the size of the Rings that I had in my ear which I knew were 8 gaged at this point I'm getting a little annoyed that he's not listening to me I have over 20 body piercings and he tried to explain to me that he can't just go find a taper to put it in my ear to find the see what size I am so that I would get the correct size tunnels since I did not know what size I was and wear and that I'm in a piercing store that would clearly have the tools but he refused and I said don't you guys sanitize the tools and he seemed to me after that didn't want to do as I told him to do I'm not going to buy something or exchange something that I know I'm not going to wear and if I'm the customer aren't they right I have over 20 piercings you could have just simply gave me back the money or take the Rings I had out put the tape in the find out what size I actually would wear give me those sizes and I would have been a happy customer. I think he is Hispanic or some other ethnicity and English is not his first language and there might have been some confusion and what I was saying and explaining to him and this is where I got frustrated and so I left unsatisfied with $20 going to the winds other than that their piercings are expensive being $49 I'm making this point out that he did try to meet me halfway but if I do not know what size I currently weird when it had benefit you after all you're a business and at the ending of the day I'm a customer in a customer keeps you in Business Without customer you wouldn't have a shop and it's goes for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I can give 0 stars, I would! Despite reviews, Sam is incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL! Let me explain why. I have piercings 2 in my nose 1 in my ear where the top of the piercing (the jewel) came out. I have replacement jewelry but need a piercer to put in the jewelry. On Friday 10/4/24 I explained my situation over the phone asking if he can assist and Sam said he could help! However, his demeanor lacks professionalism; no customer service skills! As you all might know, nose piercings are tiny. While in the shop, he asked me several times, "how many needed to be changed?" I kept saying 3, but he kept asking. Because I have several different size jewelry, I asked him which diameter would fit my nose and ear best (i didnt want a jewelry that was too big or too small for the nostril). He didn't seem to know what the word "diameter" means. I immediately realized there is a language barrier. Which is fine. I have NO problem engaging and interacting with people from countries all over the world! it just means I needed to explain in a different way. But. Asking a piercer " which diameter piercing is the best fit" is a perfectly reasonable and appropriate question That any piercer should be able to answer while assisting their custoner. However, as soon as i asked him which jewelry would fit best, Sam IMMEDIATELY seemed to become inpatient, and would not let me explain my question. He just kept interupting and then PROMPTLY decided he can not provide the sevicejewelry! Simply from asking which jewlery! I tried to explain i drove 45+ minutes,+ parking to get to his shop before closing. But he would not let me get a word in edgewise and refused service. Simply because i asked him a perfrctly reasonable question that should not razzle a piercer! I am perfectly fine if English is not someone's first language. I am NOT ok with someone becoming inpatient and refuses to help me because THEY Don't understand, or perhaps just didn't why to be bothered. This immediate attitude, unwarranted, is exavtly why Sam LACKS professionalism and has extremely poor customer skills that is unacceprable working with the public! There are plenty of clean and professional piercing shops throughout NYC. Everyone should do themselves a favor and spend your money in other body shop/...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy brother scheduled an appointment since July 10 !!!And right now it is July 25 he scheduled an appointment because of the mere fact that the lady Sylvia did not do the tattoo to the full potential that I see on Instagram so he wanted to get redone by the shop owner Ratton and the first time they said that he booked the wrong person which was Sylvia to redo his tattoo so we chose another date With ratton And then on the day of the time he was supposed to get his tattoo he texted my brother and said that he couldnāt do his tattoo because he hast to go somewhere and then he scheduled again which was July 24 and he said that he canāt do his tattoo because he has to have a anniversary for the tattoo parlor which is understandable but the amount of times that my brother has to reschedule just to get a tattoo done because they overprice them for $700 is crazy so they offered to do his tattoo for free because Sylvia did not do the tattoo to her full potential and now my brother has to wait to get his tattoo done because we are going on vacation on August 11 and he wanted for his tattoo to fully heal before he goes in water and he told the tattoo artist many times but there was still many times of rebooking we have to now wait when we come back which is August 23 for him to get his tattoo done I see that he does good work but it should not take this much just to get a tattoo done because of another personās not doing the tattoo correct I wouldnāt recommend the store but the service is incredibly unprofessional but they can do good work I personally would not recommend and by the way did I mention that they overprice them $700 for a forearm tattoo that was not even a...
