I must admit, my experiences with the New York City public transportation system have often been marked by less-than-friendly encounters with staff. However, during a recent visit to the Morrison AvenueâSoundview station, I was pleasantly surprised by one exceptional employee who truly stood out. On this particular day, their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine dedication to their role were unmistakable. Itâs rare to come across someone in this setting who not only takes pride in their work but does so with such sincerity and professionalism. This individual went above and beyond the call of duty, and their positive energy was a refreshing reminder that there are still people who care deeply about the service they provide.    Read moreThe Morrison Avenue Soundview Station is quite a little busy station. If you are going to downtown and or uptown bronx, its easy to connect to the 6 train which will take you to Manhattan and other areas.
There is no wheelchair access at this train station. You can find lot of stores around the station, including Bank of America ATM and Financial Institution. There is a park close by to the station. Fruits and vegetables shop etc.
The public library Clason Library is closer to the train station about a 2 minutes walk from the station at 1215 Morrison Avenue.
