I don't live in New York but I was born and raised there, so I know New York Pizza. Whenever I visit I must have a slice or three of classic New York style pizza. The first bite of a slice of New Yankee pizza brought the satisfaction I was craving. That classic New York Pizza taste and texture just can't be found anywhere outside of the New Metro area. I'd buy at the New Yankee regularly without hesitation.

FOR YEARS THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST PIZZA IN THE BRONX. THE ORIGINAL, LOCATED RIGHT UP THE BLOCK ACROSS THE STREET, SERVED ME & MY FELLOW MONROE HIGH SCHOOLERS FOR $.75! THE SLICES WERE BIG, THE FLAVOUR EXCELLENT! SUPPOSEDLY, THE OWNER'S SON MOVED HIS EXTENSION OF THE BUSINESS TO MORRISON AVENUE, BRONX, NY 10472! THIS CONTINUES TO BE THE BESTEST PIZZA IN THE BRONX! "MY PIZZA HUSBAND" IS THE PREMIERE PIZZA CHEF!!! EVEN THE OWNER DOESN'T MAKE IT AS WELL. YANKEE PIZZA TRIED TO SUCCEED IN MANHATTAN; HOWEVER, THE PIZZA GENUINELY SUCKED DUE TO THE PERSON MAKING THE PIZZA. First of all this is New Yankees Pizza not to be confused with Yankee Pizza just a little further down the street. I call up and the guy gives me a price of $9.99. Now I know that sounds cheap but A Pizza cost like nothing to make. I add another topping. I send my friend down to pick it up and now it's over $19. This is the Bronx. i can get a large Pizza in A high class Manhattan restaurant with chicken and other toppings for cheaper than that. So i can't judge the food, but i also can't afford it. Why is the pizza so damn mediocre? Pizza in manhattan is way better. Yankee's should really up their game or else business men in manhattan is gonna move up hear (and they will very soon) and give them a run for their money with better pizza shops.
