New Ranch — Restaurant in New York

This is sadly not the 1st time the food has been disappointing. My Son actually told me order something simply that they cannot mess up. I figured they can’t mess up a grilled cheese & fries, however, I was wrong. The fries had been re-fried & were greasy & luke warm. When I sent them back the waitress told me, I knew they were not good. At this point I asked then why did you serve them to me. My Son told me last time I was here a customer also had to send the fries 🍟 back. The grilled cheese with ham was toasted on one side & greedy & completely soggy on the other. It was on Rye & therefore, not big but I was just not able to eat it. It was simply too soggy. When the waitress told the counter person collecting my payment she advised him & told him about the soggy grilled cheese & he told me it’s crunchy when they 2st make it & then it gets soggy. I told him from here to there less than 10 feet it went from crunchy to soggy, it was already soggy when it was put on the table. My Son asked for Orange 🍊 Juice & they gave him a container of OJ & a straw. I literally had to ask for a glass for him. My Son’s toast was over buttered & only toasted in middle. How, I don’t know. We’re eating in a Diner so why are you not providing a glass for this overpriced Juice. The food prices have gone up, food portions have gone down & the quality of their food is completely nonexistent. I figured because it was a work day at 10:30am & no real breakfast rush I’d have a nice brunch at The Ranch. Thought Wasted! Still A Huge Disappointment! Absolutely NO Pride & A Total...

Went for the first time today since I work nearby and try to find new local businesses to frequent. Unfortunately, today will probably be my last time.

I walked in and placed an order at the counter, there was a bit of a miscommunication due to the chef’s accent, which no issue, I just tried to rephrase and ask him to clarify. He says “I’ll take your order when you’re listening” and stormed off to the other end of the counter… Ok? I said sir can I order? The owner is nearby and clarifies for me and he takes my order but says nothing else about the outburst. As I wait I continue to be polite and patient even though I felt disrespected by the man who took my order.

As if aware in the wrong, they speak much kinder to me when finishing the transaction, but I can’t help but be annoyed that I’m being asked to move up and down the counter to make the order, pay for it, then pick up.

The customer service needs to prove, as well as organization. If things weren’t so chaotic maybe staff wouldn’t be so flustered and snappy with...

I go here to pick up an order for my mom because she ordered for pick up now I get there. The owner himself is actually dealing with a customer. He takes their money. Let them pay for that order and it goes to the next woman and takes her money and let her pay for her order, ignoring me saying good morning to him, now this guy has just came from using their ATM as I’m trying to explain myself like I’m here to pick up an order he goes to the next guy takes his money. Let him pay for his order me while my whole order is still sitting there he turns his back to me and goes. Yeah ma’am what do you want ? I’m like you know what I don’t think I feel comfortable ordering here anymore. I don’t know if it’s because I’m black, but I feel very disrespected and I don’t think I will be ordering here anymore.
