(If I could give 0 stars, I would) I worked with an agent Abraham Bah, and he asked me for a $250 application fee, along with a security deposit of $1,600, for a place that was already being rented unbeknownst to us. The rent there was actually $2,995. The landlord does not even know who he is or who is actually listing the apartment as available when tenants are already occupying the unit and have been since March. Of course Mr. Bah pretends he is sorry and didn't know but when it comes to getting my money back, no response. I shared with him that this is for my spouse, new baby and I...as we desperately needed to move out of our current home for a better living space for our baby, and he took advantage of that. Throughout numerous years of real estate investment, I have never encountered service, a team, and quality in the real estate marketplace like Nest Seekers. I have conducted millions of dollars worth of transactions and intend to return to working with Nest Seekers in the future. Worked with a really nice agent however, this brokerage has false advertising. Typically when places have a special they will list gross AND net rent however this firm has a listing that is advertised at ONLY the net price and when you engage they hit you with a much higher price that you’re expected to pay monthly. This is very dishonest and misleading. Why not list both prices for price transparency vs misleading clients? Not ethical.
