A bit interesting and different type of show, that much can say that is in the category of audiovisual feat with a non-verbal where the communications are shaped by feelings, emotions and body language. This is one of the types of show that the children will hate and get bored to see, but it will be awesome and a bit thrilling for any adults.

I have to give a lot of credit to the casts of this show, how they found the way to entertain the audience making they laugh and mourn, without saying any word, just singing a song in a couple of occasions, and a violinist that play the violin the whole show and did a splendid job, the cast that was operated the puppet (witch, raven and the woodsman metal) did a great job.

The Woodsman tell a story of a 'woodsman' that fall in love with a slave girl that is the property of a witch. In order to stop this love the witch cast a spell to the axe, that every time he used it, the axe cut of part of his body. Each time that the axe cut a part of his body this was replace with a metal part, until he turn 100% metal and he cannot "love" again.

I recommend you to come and see this play 100%, but I will give you a warning please do not come with any children, because they will not...

We are so lucky to have this theater in midtown east . We have the option to enjoy plays here without having to deal with the hustle and bustle of Broadway.

The staff has always been nice when I’ve attended .

I also love that there is a small concession area if you want a drink or snack before the show .

Also of note , you can buy a copy of the script at the concession bar too if you loved a particular performance . Such a great idea .

Wheelchair , walker & stroller Accessible Bathrooms are located on the bottom level that you can easily get to by elevator .

59E59 Theaters is wheelchair accessible. Theater A and Theater B have wheelchair accessible seats in the front row. There are several other locations in Theater A that are accessible without steps and may have wheelchair access. When booking online, look for ADA accessible seats, or call our Box Office at 646-892-7999 to order tickets, and they will be happy to assist you based on your needs.

All three theaters are equipped with radio assistive listening devices for the hearing impaired. Hearing loop adaptors are also available. Large print programs are available upon request.

Saw "The Undertaking" here, which was a great show. Theater B was a fantastic small theater, each row well-elevated so even not as tall people (like my wife) can see well. The sound, the lighting and the visuals were top notch - this performance involved a lot of film and animation projections as well as background music and pre-recorded interviews. The stage was designed very well, the vertical, hanging white strips that served as backdrop reflected the projected images well, but were inobtrusive when there were scenes without visuals. It was quite nice to see a perfprmance in such an intimate space. The ushers were friendly and helpful. They could maybe use a little more space and seating near the bar where you must wait before the theater is ready, but, even so, it did not feel too crowded there. The tickets were reasonably priced. It was a great experience, and I can't wait to go back to this theater to see another...

I just saw the delightful theater adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and thoroughly enjoyed it. The play is performed by three wonderful British actors who all did amazing jobs inhabiting the colorful characters of this classic piece. For a property that is so well known, I was blown away by how fresh the material seemed in this production. Of course the wonderful love story that it is so famous for was beautifully depicted, but the adaptation really pulled forward the extaordinary comedic characters and reimagined the piece to pull forward the hysterical comedy that is often overshadowed by the poignant love story. The three actors play all the roles and watching them transform before your eyes adds to the amusement. The production felt familiar, fresh and fun; a trifecta that is a rare treat and another testament to how spectular this timeclass classic continues to be!

Love that we have this in midtown east . Nice to be able to go to the theater for a show with dealing with Times Square crowds . Small theater spaces holding around 50-60 people so you feel a part of the play . You can hear well & see the actors facial expressions up close . Staff is friendly and the theater is accessible to those in wheelchairs . Nice accessible bathroom in the lower level . Also be sure to ask for a set of headphones if you have trouble hearing . Nice place .

Got rush tickets to see Yes, I can say that and shocked I got second row seats. The theater was set up a bit differently as the main entry puts you at the top/back of the theater, the first few rows can enter from the lower level making it more convenient. I didn't get a chance to check out the bar on the upper level and would do so the next time I'm there. Overall good experience.
