Great location, decent selection and lots of space for stuff. Overly aggressive and attitude-ish employees though. Doesn’t matter if it was 1, 2 or several; they all represent the brand and the continuation of their employment sets a new standard of customer service for their company.
I was picking out a tshirt or 2 and an associate got way too close to me (shoulders touching) asking me to sign up for the rewards program. I told her i already receive emails and I’m enrolled. She refused my response and said there’s a new system and proceeded to bombard me with personal questions in order to sign me up. She set my expectations in the beginning with only needing my name and email. Then she started asking for DOB, address, and other information. I was so annoyed at how aggressive her tactics were and how close she got that i put the item in my hand down that i wanted to purchase and i walked out. She then walked over to another associate as i was walking out and looked at me wish such disdain as if i was the overly aggressive one. Long story short too late: AVOID THIS LOCATION! The last time i was here the AC didn’t work and they had large industrial fans cooling the store. But that didn’t work; just circulated the hot air. It was wildly uncomfortable.
The craft of superb customer service is what makes in-person shopping experiences worthwhile over internet shopping. The first associate i spoke to didn’t quite know if and where Halloween shirts were. I ended up walking around and finding them myself. So i ask: why was he necessary in the first place?

Read moreI ordered clothes for my son several months ago. Due to the pandemic I wasn't able to exchange and didn't want the hassle of shipping them back. I visited the Jamaica Ave location Monday. The store was clean and orderly. The young men and women working the store, were working the store!! From professionally communicating via headsets, to walking the line making sure social distancing was being practiced. They were diligent, polite and assisting in everyway!! I had the pleasure of meeting Reba (I think). There were so many glitches and blitzes in her system it was exasperating. The young lady held her composure and tried another way. After several attempts to no avail.. Her coworker offered her register (teamwork, I like that)..still a few validation issues, here comes Stephy to assist!! They got it done!! I just needed a pair of shoes ,I'm a single mom on a limited budget so I didn't need to purchase $50 worth of stuff then get free shipping or pay for my item plus shipping, so I took my two year old son on the bus which is fine but when I got to the store it was in a mess and no employees to assist, then the line was ridiculous and plus when I got up to the cashier there was no discount, no sale price nothing. I took the shoes anyway because I needed it for work and I no there's a catch to alot of these bargins but come on Old Navy help out the single moms, dads etc.. people on strict budget, I can't wait for the few random days you do give free shipping because I may not have the money at that time or miss the...
