I absolutely love Orangetheory Fitness from the amazing certified trainers to the friendly front desk staff that welcoming you when you arrive and sign you inn for your class. This the only gym where they actually cater to our needs from having, deodorant to ponytail holders, flexible class schedules, the office staff are so accommodating and they address all of the members needs whether it’s financial or addressing any concerns or questions we may have. The trainers are so well knowledge in their field of expertise and watch us during class and really make sure we’re all performing at our best capabilities. If we’re not doing a move correctly the coaches come over to help us make sure we’re doing the movement core correctly or might suggest a more suitable alternative to fit our certain needs or mobility. The. Coaches are so approachable and are so friendly, they answer and address any question or concerns we have. The motivate us during the workout and empower us to do our very best to achieve the most benefits out of the workout . They’re constantly aware of our strengths and know when we were capable of taking it to the next level and challenge our even before we might be aware of it ourselves. The front desk staff are so friendly, engaging, funny, and really make you feel welcome. They care about each member’s well being, as well as supporting us, and addressing any concerns we might have. They are extremely flexible when it comes to financial issues as well. I love the music and the different themes they do in the studio as well as he equipment. It’s such a delight fun engaging atmosphere and interactions between the front desk staff, coaches, and menders. Members really help out one another, we notice when someone is missing and we’re thrilled when they return. Orangetheory Fitness is like no other gym I’ve ever workout in before we’re like a community and the members are only competing against ourselves to strive achieve the best results, be as strong, and as flexible with mobility as we can be. I love the HIIT workouts so very much because it combines cardio, weights, strength and ingenuity, and endurance. I tried other workouts and they never were compete l always felt like something was missing and they never gave me he results l wanted. Plus they never really challenge me nor help with my balance or flexibilities. I’m still struggling with my balance but I’ve improved and it’s getting better with every workout. My flexibility and mobility have improved so significantly that l can see and feel the difference. The first time l tried a HIIT workout l was already hooked and was like where have you been my whole life. I’ve been struggling to find h to e perfect workout that fit all my fitness needs and HIIT is the one. I’m so glad that I’ve joined Orangetheory Fitness my only regret l didn’t...
Read moreThe only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't start OTF earlier! I've taken tons of workout classes around the city but have found most the studios can be pretty pretentious and intimidating - this OrangeTheory location is the exact opposite. Everyone is super friendly, from the front desk to the coaches, and the attendees in class are just refreshingly normal. The class is made up of three different parts - rower, floor weight workout and treadmill- and you can adjust it to wherever your strength is that day. The coaches are all really good at demonstrating the moves and then telling the class what modifications they can use for it (ie a lower weight, dropping to your knees for pushups, etc).
It's definitely a little pricey - I pay $179 for unlimited classes - but their schedule has tons of classes and I've literally never had a problem getting into a time I wanted. They give you two free classes to start and take you through the studio and teach you about the workout and honestly, you're hooked right after. I bought their tracker so I can keep track of my splat points (when your heartrate is in the orange/red zones) and to help keep me motivated. It's a great workout every single time but also more importantly, its different every single day! I love the community and will be a member as long as it remains super welcoming and friendly.
Oh- they're also super strict about showing your vaccination card every single time you check in for class so that's super...
Read moreDO NOT TAKE CLASS FROM JESSE!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been going to this location for months now & love the positive atmosphere, the coaches, & front desk! I have never had an issue until yesterday.
Jesse verbally abused me the entirety of the class. He yelled at me over the microphone multiple times & told me I had an attitude loudly in front of other customers. I did not have an attitude & was not bothering anyone else in the class. The way he yelled at me disrupted the whole class & made me feel small & horrible about myself. After class he told me to stay after to “talk it out”. Being in a room alone with a man twice my size was scary & I never should have been put in that situation.
I am not his student or private client. I am a paying customer who comes to OrangeTheory to have a fun, positive, and uplifting workout. No one should ever be treated the way he treated me. I felt like if I didn’t do what he told me, I would have been harmed.
This all being said, this is not a post to speak negatively about the studio. I will still be going to this location. It is a WARNING to others to please not take Jesse’s class.
Everyone else working at this location is wonderful especially the front desk staff who talked to me after the class & put me in contact with other managers to discuss the...
