I had the most incredible experience at Pall Mall Barbershop, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, and I knew right away that I was in for a treat. The ambiance of the shop was stylish and inviting, with modern decor and a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic environment was very reassuring. Now, let me talk about the real star of the show - my amazing barber, Eva! From the start, she made sure to listen carefully to what I wanted, asking questions to understand my preferences fully. They offered their professional insights and suggestions, which I greatly appreciated. The haircut itself was a true work of art! It was evident that Eva is incredibly skilled and passionate about their craft. Every snip of the scissors and stroke of the comb felt precise and purposeful. The result was beyond my expectations; I felt like a new person when I looked in the mirror! Throughout the appointment she engaged in delightful conversation, making me feel at ease and comfortable. It was more than just a haircut; it was a genuinely enjoyable experience. The pricing was very reasonable for the level of expertise and service provided. I left the shop feeling like I got far more than my money's worth. In conclusion, if you're looking for a top-notch barber who truly cares about their clients and has unparalleled skills, I highly recommend Evaggelia at Pall Mall Barbershop. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment and can't wait to see what incredible magic they work on my hair next time! Thank you again for the fantastic experience, Eva - you've gained a customer for life!

Paul Mall barbershop is the best kept secret in plain sight in NYC! In the Roc Center concourse, is a barbershop with no pretense, and quite literally fit for royalty (Prince William is a patron) but the welcoming spirit, and attention to details make this my absolute go to for a perfect haircut - above and beyond - they do a marvelous job, it feels so relaxing, comfortable and no detail is overlooked. It’s not pretentious, and I actually look forward to going to the middle of it all for a relaxed hour (or less before, during, After work- or on the weekend) to get a fabulous cut - and walk away feeling Don Draper chic- and bespoke styling for my (not a lot to work with) difficult hair! I love it - and cannot recommend Pall Mall more genuinely or enthusiastically- and every cut, trim or touch up I get- I walk away feeling like royalty - at the most reasonable price. I am partial to Oksana who works magic on me, but the team is great- and they always accommodate my hectic schedule. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review for a haircut - but Pall Mall barbers is a cut above the rest! Many thanks- and I hope you experience this wonderful , affordable indulgence! Simple, sophisticated , sleek and perfection! Many thanks - After 40 years- someone finally got it right (for me!) 💈✂️🗽🇺🇸🇬🇧✨🙌🏽👑 thank you!

I was a regular to the original Pall Mall Barber on Whitcomb street back around the time I worked in the offices above the Thistle Hotel across the street in 2005. Always had the best service there and that area in general had a real sense of a local community, despite being in the heart of London's most popular tourist zone. Many years have passed, and I now live in Boston, USA and the pandemic gave my hair an opportunity to grow relentlessly for 6 months. I wanted a new style to the mop, so when I discovered that Pall Mall had become this international beast and was opened down in Manhattan, there was no where best to get it done properly. OD did a tremendous job - battling through 6 months of rabid hair growth, and presented my head a new lease of practical style. The place felt familiar, everything down to the taps, bunting, paneling and the sinks - it's going to be a new old haunt for me I think. Well done Richard on your success!

Title: A Cut Above the Rest: Daniel at Paul Mall Barbers in Rockefeller Center

I have been a loyal customer of Paul Mall Barbers, specifically to the exceptionally talented barber, Daniel, for over a year now. Located in the heart of Rockefeller Center, this barber shop has become my go-to destination for the perfect skin fade and haircut.

From the moment you step inside, the relaxed and enjoyable ambiance sets the tone for a truly gratifying grooming experience. The atmosphere exudes a classic charm combined with modern aesthetics, making it an inviting space to unwind and pamper yourself.

Daniel, the skilled and talented barber at Paul Mall Barbers, is undoubtedly the standout gem of this establishment. With his razor-sharp precision and an eye for detail, he transforms haircuts into works of art. I've been amazed by the level of expertise he brings to the table each time I sit in his chair. His knowledge of various hairstyles, trends, and techniques is evident, and he always goes the extra mile to understand exactly what I'm looking for.

One of the most exceptional qualities of Daniel is his ability to listen attentively to his clients' preferences and deliver a personalized service that leaves you feeling confident and satisfied. Whether it's a slight tweak to a regular style or a complete hair transformation, Daniel executes it with finesse and precision.

Beyond his skills, Daniel's friendly and incredible demeanor creates a warm and comfortable environment. He engages in meaningful conversations, making the experience feel more like catching up with an old friend rather than a typical barber appointment. This personal touch makes the visit to Paul Mall Barbers a delightful experience every single time.

What truly sets Paul Mall Barbers and Daniel apart is their consistency. Over the course of my visits, I have never been disappointed with the quality of service or the results. Daniel's attention to detail and dedication to his craft shine through in every haircut, ensuring that I leave the shop looking and feeling my best.

A memorable experience at Paul Mall Barbers includes not just a top-notch haircut but also the camaraderie that is shared within the shop. The friendly banter among the barbers and their clients adds to the vibrant atmosphere, creating a sense of belonging that keeps customers coming back.

In conclusion, Paul Mall Barbers, led by the remarkable talent of Daniel, deserves nothing short of a glowing review. Their ability to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment, paired with Daniel's exceptional skills and personalized service, make this place a cut above the rest. If you're in Rockefeller Center and in need of a top-tier skin fade and haircut, look no further than Paul Mall Barbers and ask for Daniel - you won't be...

This was a terrible haircut. I’m severely disappointed. I spent months growing my hair out, and told the barber that I wanted to keep the length. She didn’t listen. At multiple points I told her I thought she was cutting it too short. She argued with me and didn’t listen. And now my hair — which I had really enjoyed having long — is awful and mushroom shaped, with skin practically showing on the sides and back. I was enjoying the longer hair so much, and she just refused to listen to me say I wanted to keep it. It was the first time in my life I’ve ever wanted to get up out of a barber chair and leave halfway through — but the damage was done, so I figured she could at least do an ok job of giving me the haircut she wanted to give me (rather than the one I wanted). And it was, in fact, “ok” — the same quality I’d get at a $25 barber upstairs somewhere.

The only good point is that she only charged me for the 23 minute haircut she provided rather than the 45 minute haircut I booked. But there’s a reason it only took 23 minutes rather than 45 — she gave me a haircut entirely different from what I wanted. If she’d listened at all, it would have taken longer. Maybe she was in a hurry?

I’m not sure what else there is to say. I could have had the same haircut at many other places for half the cost. I came here because I wanted something different from a number-4-on-the-sides. But that’s what I got.

If you like your hair style, do not go here — they will not listen, and will change it whether you like it or not.

Edit: The more I look at this haircut, the more I think I need to correct something I said above. I would not have gotten this haircut at a place charging $25. I’d have gotten a better one. At a $25 place they’d have avoided this stupid mushroom look — which I think is the result of the barber wanting to cut the back and sides the one way she knows how, while leaving the top at least a little long. Guys, it looks really stupid. I’m literally going to have to go to my local barber to get this fixed. So it’s not even that they didn’t give me a haircut worth the cost, and didn’t listen, and cut off months of growth, and all the rest. They gave me a BAD version of the haircut you can get from your...

I had looked around for the top rated barbershops and found this one with about 5 stars and 168 reviews. Arrived about 10min before my appointment and with about 8 months worth of hair and first thing I mentioned was that I was still growing out my hair and only wanted to cut the sides and I usually style my hair with a middle part and in the long run hope to be able to pull it back. I'll admit I didn't give the best explanation of what I wanted but I tried to look up the video of the haircut I wanted and to my surprise there wasn't any signal. I gave a description of what I wanted and ended up with an undercut. Kept quiet at first since in my mind I'm thinking "well it's a 5 star barbershop, it'll probably come out ok right?" I guess not since by the end of the haircut I definitely did not like the haircut I received. I explained that I would go to the first floor to get screenshots of the video and would come back, and that I wouldn't mind paying the price of an extra haircut as long as I get a similar haircut to what was in the video. So I went up, came back with the screenshots and got my hair cut. I was told that it would come out a bit shorter to get the hairstyle in the picture. I agreed and the next thing I know I have very, very significantly shorter hair and at this point I'm just sad. I don't show it but as I'm explained the reason why it's short I just can't help but nod and agree. I end up with a short haircut and I'm told I can style it different when I only asked for a the haircut in the picture, a middle part... I end up with either slicked back hair, a side part, or a sad looking middle part. I now have no other options but to wear a hat everytime I go in public. To make matters worst I went on my birthday hoping to get an awesome haircut, "5 stars right?" I know this review is against the majority but I just wanted to share my experience here. I'm sure they give great haircuts to other people but maybe today was just my unlucky day. Needless to say this is my first and last time...
