Wow incredibly unwelcoming! Also got major racist vibe but didn't stick around to confirm. I shared an elevator with the owner and she was looking up and down at me like I was gonna snatch her purse lol then as we are walking to the studio she said she was the owner and I was telling her the place was hard to find cause there are no signs for it and she told me she doesn't understand what I am saying. I was like okkk.. then the front desk guy basically refused to give me class schedule and membership information because he asked me at least 5 times when and where I last did pilates like he didn't believe me. I was like why is this relevant I am just here to get information to see if it works with my schedule and get a vibe of the place and he basically said you can go to the website. I told him he seemed like he didn't want to share any information to me and he just starred blankly at me. Yeah that was my cue to toodles. Obviously I don't recommend but if you are on the fence go check out the energy before you put money down. I was this close to buying the intro classes and something just told me to go there cause I was already walking around the area. The vibe you will feel will give you the answer.. you know unless you fit a certain demographic then you'll prob love it cause they have really good reviews. They just not open to everyone.
Update: owner still confused and not understanding my plain English review in their reply lol. Just pls do better with the next black girl that walks through your doors. I am never stepping in that vile...

First of all, while this isn’t vital, it’s a beautiful space (I go to studio 2, which is the penthouse near the train at 31st St.). They have a nice selection of equipment including two Cadillacs. I also noticed early on that there’s not a single mirror. Even in the restroom. I asked about that out of curiosity and they said it’s intentional. I actually really like that. The instructor I’ve been working with is Nina and she has been so sensitive to my particular limitations and needs. I really appreciate that. At the same time, she pushes me, in a good way. I’m very out of shape and I feel different in my body since I’ve been coming here. I feel more present and stronger. If I could afford it, I think I would come...
