TLDR: A bagel shop with a friendly owner and bagel sandwiches that could be two full meals per sandwich. Tip: Ask for Ben's Balls 🤣
-[SEOUL MEETS BAGEL (SMB)] $10.95 (10/10) 🥯 Your choice of bagel that is then topped with bulgogi, egg, American cheese, sauteed kimchi, and gochujang mayo 🥯 This was such a tall sandwich that I ended up having to butcher its presentation with a fork and knife 🫣 🥯 The ingredients go well together and as they say, my compliments to the chef for this creation
-[DAPS] $11.95 (8/10) 🥯 Your choice of bagel that is topped with spicy Korean pork, mozzarella, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, kimchi slaw, and gochujang mayo 🥯 This one sounded better because of how many ingredients it had but if I'm being honest, the previous bagel won my heart 😅 🥯 This is still a very solid 8/10 though on my scale
-[BEN'S BALLS] $? 🍚 I have no idea what the price of this is but I would happily pay for Ben to give me his balls on the regular aka please open a location in Toronto 🥹 🍚 Consists of kimchi fried rice and bulgigi all shaped into a ball and then deep fried and topped with spicy mayo 🍚 This is on equal footing with the first bagel if you ask me
📝 Took a 40+ minute transit ride in the rain to this spot but wouldn't mind doing it again because of the food and the owner's service/humor (he gave everyone a sour patch kid with their order too✨️) 📝 Seriously, inquire about getting a pair of his balls or more. You...
Read moreSaw this place on social media a while back, found myself in the area and decided to give it a try. Came by on a Wednesday morning; it is located right on the main ave next to the train. Plenty of meter parking when I visited. Good amount of seating inside and typical bodega style set up for ordering. The gentlemen working were kind, efficient, and had me in and out within a few minutes. There was one customer waiting for their order when I arrived, few folks sitting and eating.
I tried their SMB (Seoul Meets Bagel), they have a specials menu in a clear frame and plenty of options on the wall menu including breakfast, sandwiches, lunch, and Korean dishes.
The SMB is enough for 2 meals and definitely big enough to share with another person. You pick the bagel; the guy recommended the everything bagel so I got that, toasted. Took it to go, packaged in wax papers and a brown paper bag, they threw in a Swedish fish candy for an unexpected treat. The SMB is surprisingly heavy, stuffed with bulgogi (i mean stuffed!), scrambled egg, American cheese, and their signature sauce. It was flavorful, filling, and delicious.
They gave me one of Ben's Balls to take. A fried arancini ball with a Korean twist, it was a tasty ball!
You can pay card or cash, with an additional fee for card. I paid just over $11, may seem pricey but you literally get two meals in one. Would...

One of the highlights is the Seoul Meets Bagel, featuring tender bulgogi beef, which is perfectly seasoned and paired with a fresh, chewy bagel.
