I consider myself fortunate to have discovered the Prana Yoga studio on my way to work in May 2023. I tried various exercises and diets, but I could not lose weight. I figured I would try hot yoga because I was hoping that hot yoga would help me drop the stubborn extra pounds I gained over the years, and that hot yoga poses would help me get more flexibility. I was determined to take better care of my body. Jenny, the owner of Prana Yoga and instructor, was very helpful and patient in helping me learn the various Yoga poses. The heat in the class relaxed my muscles and made doing the various yoga poses easier. It might take a few classes for some people to get used to doing hot yoga but if you keep hydrated and follow Jenny’s instructions, anyone in general good health can do it. I felt after each class that I gained knowledge of the poses as well as becoming much more flexible with each class. Jenny at the Prana Yoga, recommended Unicity, a detox program that has been game changing, I was so tired and feeling bloated all the time, but this detox program reset my sluggish metabolism and cleaned me up (really) and, most importantly, without negative side effects. After I completed the detox program, Jenny suggested that I try a diet program also from Unicity which has helped me to control my appetite, I am not starving myself. I feel satisfied, and I am actually losing weight. I am finally at my target weight. I feel energized and more active than ever. Prana Yoga Studio and Jenny have improved my quality of life without any negative side effects. I am able to sleep through the night. My body is now much more flexible and stronger. I have lost weight. Jenny has introduced me to a new way of living and thinking. My mind, body, and spirit are in harmony, which is the most valuable lesson I have learned. The meditation at the end of each class also helps to release stress and clear mind, there's nothing to complain about. I started the yoga class there since mid-April and tried to be there at least two or three times a week. I told Jenny that my goal is to lose weight at the very beginning, so she introduced the 30 days cleans program to me, by taking the aloe pills and a scoop of fiber daily during that 30 days, I can tell my belly has been flatten a little bit, though weight wise is not that significant, I think I have lost about 3 to 5 lbs, however, can feel that my body has been lighter and cleaned from the condition of my skin. After that, I also took the Get Fit 21days program, there were couple challengers in that program and we all needed to share pictures of our protein shakes (for breakfast and dinner) and meals daily, which help us to motivate ourselves to eat healthier, and Jenny also gave us suggestions on food during that 21 days. Aside for diet, there is also a set of exercise to be done in different days. I followed all the eating pattern and exercise as suggested and got a very satisfied result (lost 9 lbs in 21 days). Read moreI have been this place for 4 years since it opened in 2012. I am always suffering from neck pain and back pain for a few years and I received chiropractc and acupuncture treatments from several places. They could relieve my pain temporarily but the pain came back when I got stresses or in the change of season. Since I started practiing hot yoga here, my pain was getting relieved, feel much better than before and I could sleep well. Heat really help me to circulate my body and good for relaxation. During this terrible winter, hot yoga really saved me from back pain! Its yoga instructor has strong passion for yoga and always encourages me to keep practicing.
