I’m really can’t stand the post office worker rude behavior!! Just now I wanna say to the post office worker whose working for the supervisor at 40-03 164st flushing NY. I wanted sewing her mouth while talking with her. Not only her, It was two people!! I think same ethnicity.
From first time when I met them, they look like having a anger because of fought with someone. Because from first time when I met them their's voice was not comfortable. Their's voice was very high and can listen like having an annoyance so much. And looked like a hurry and trying to finish the work fast, and really really so rude and their's behavior was racism although they also asian, but look like they discrimination about whose cannot speak English fluently.
I just tried to confirm to that what I understood with follow she gave me a information. But they never tried to listen my words with rude attitude, and showed the behavior like a high strung while they were explaining to me. It looked like their's ears blocked. So I said please listen to my words I wanna confirm what I understood. But they just spoken only their's words and never trying listen my words. And they mocked while talking with me and gave me feeling to insult.
So I said your job is service job for citizen so you will be able to meet many kind of customer, you need trying to listen people's word and attention to that what they are saying, and also as I told you I cannot speak English fluently, but you just talk only your word, Did you take a training for the good communication skills with customer from your company? I don't think so, your behavior is so rude.
But while I speeking all this she never listen about my words and she only spoken her words. So I asked her that do you have camera in here like cctv?, and She responced "Yes, we have." After that soon she made fake smile and she said "Look!! I'm making smile to you', and she made posture the action like smile face with bring the finger to her mouth. And she said "I'm good because I'm making a smile to you". She had a confident herself with her attitude while mocking me via her spoken look like she is a best supervisor and she looked like that doesn't have any problems.
And I was very upset and had a panic with her attitude, so I really needed to get some evidence to proof for this situation. I asked her name, she said "My name is ENABELL". So I asked her what is your name spelling? but she didn't say her name's spelling and just told me that " You don't know the bell? Do you know the sound ZINGLE ZINGLE? that is bell!! My, name, is, E!! NA!! BELL!!, and I'm a supervisor of here!!!, OKAY?? DO YOU UNDERSTAND?? OKAY?? DO YOU UNDERSTAND? THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTAND!! THANK YOU!! OKAY??THANK YOU for YOUR UNDERSTAND!! Okay!! " Like this she spoken aggressively without her name's spelling. I really wanted to call the police. She looks like social psychopath. Two workers were Chinese or India(sorry I’m not sure), and they ignored the Customers.
I think they had gotten training the communication way for the win while talking with customers from government, and they learned how can they mock the customers with fast speaking and They just spoke same sentence with repeatedly, and moved only lips. No change the words of sentence with blank look on her face. While I’m speaking to them about my opinion, they never stopped to speaking like a robot. Even I stopped spoke, but they said same words. They also look like an Asian but it looks like a they doing discrimination for immigrant people whose cannot speak English fast and fluent. They looks like a ready to fight with other people.
They look like ignorant and couldn’t learn the courtesy from family. When I think other way they also got a discrimination from other so They just show the same behavior like a victimhood or inferiority complex.
I think they need to take a psychological therapy. It was crazy I never wanna remember this experience. It made me crazy and trauma and afraid to visit that post office. Just now I’m feeling regrets to I didn’t...
Read moreOne of the workers at this post office was extremely rude to me. I simply wanted to ship a box of books, with packaging material around the books to protect them during shipping. When I tried to explain this to her, she kept interrupting me, yelling at me and saying that because there was something other than books in the box (just some crumpled grocery bags, since I didn’t have bubble wrap), I had to pay a higher price, over $20, instead of the media mail price of $4 and change.
When I insisted I was only shipping books and couple of bags in the box were just there to protect the books, she abruptly said, “I’m not going to go back and forth with you. We’ll open the box if we think it’s more than books and you’ll lose the shipping.” Then she adjusted the price to $4 and change and barked at me to swipe my card.
Once I finished paying, she moved on to harassing/yelling at the next customer in line. The customer mentioned that she wanted to tape up a box, and the worker started verbally berating her too, saying, “I already told you a week ago that there’s tape with shipping!!!” and generally being unprofessional and rude, until the poor lady’s voice was trembling from being treated so poorly. All she wanted was to ship a box, just like me.
To make matters worse, the worker next to her started yelling at the customers too, saying “I don’t have all day!” It seems they feed off each other’s negative attitudes, in some sick way.
Usually, people are in a jolly mood the day before Thanksgiving. Not today, and not here, apparently. I wish I could say it was a smooth and easy process to ship a holiday package at this location, but it most...
Read moreI usually drop off return packages at this location without any issues. I always have my box or plastic bag ready, and in the past, the staff has taped it for me if needed. But today, the experience was very disappointing.
When I went to drop off my package, the employees (Chinese lady) told me I needed to tape it myself. I explained that they’ve always taped it for me before, but she insisted that I had to buy tape, which costs $4. And I went to the other employee (Black lady) and said the same thing. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just provide a small piece of tape for a secure package. It wasn’t like the package was incomplete or improperly packed I just needed ONE PIECE OF TAPE. What made it even more frustrating was that I could see multiple rolls of tape behind the counter.
I even told them that I had walked 30 minutes to get there, and it felt unnecessarily difficult for something so small. I even asked in a nice way at first until they pissed me off. It’s frustrating when staff seem unwilling to provide BASIC assistance. In my experience, the male employees here have been much more accommodating, but this time the treatment I received from the women working there was disappointing.
USPS is known for its customer service struggles, and experiences like this make it clear why. Please hire people who are willing to help instead of making things harder for customers. We’re all dealing with challenges—there’s no need to add to them over something as trivial as a goddamn...
