Ok, so, as a physician myself, I feel uncomfortable with these "review sites", but after my experience, I feel like I had to write something to commend the care that I received. FIVE STARS! I was a little nervous, never having been seen by an actual foot specialist before...the office staff (So other office staff normally ignore you and talk on the phone right -- these guys didn't!! Treated me with kindness, respect, short wait time, and a very comfortable waiting area)...and Dr. Melamed noted my apprehension and at once made me feel relaxed and truly cared for. He diagnosed my "issue" and we worked together on a treatment plan that was truly easy and eased my discomfort immediately! I super highly recommended Dr. Melamed. I went in there for plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, barely able to walk. He treated me like I was family. I had physical therapy first, which I appreciated bc I didn't want to jump straight into meds. Also used an orthotic which help slightly but didn't eliminate the pain. When nothing else worked I recieved a cortisone shot in my foot which eliminated the pain immediately! I have now been pain free for over a month! Hallelujah!!! Dr. Melamed treated me when I fractured my fifth metatarsal in my foot this summer. The injury happened on a Saturday, and he was able to see me the next day, even though it was a weekend, which I really appreciated. He is professional, knowledgable and I felt very comfortable under his care throughout the time it took for the injury to heal.
