Rainbow Shops — Local services in New York

The manager at this store informed me that his name is Ivan. Ivan has poor customer service, he is extremely rude and he is very disrespectful. Last night, I purchased 5 tops. After I entered my car, I decided that I really didn't need all and I discovered that I purchased 2 of the same tops by accident. I re-entered the store, returned two and exchanged one. I went home with 3 tops. I tried on the tops when I got home and 1 of the tops didn't fit.

I went back to the store today to return the top that didn't fit. I provided Ivan with the top along with the receipt. As I was waiting for Ivan to complete the return, Ivan reviewed the receipt and informed me that I already returned the top. I replied that I did not and if the receipt appears as if I did, he made an error when I returned the other tops last night. Ivan then informed me that he was not going to return the top or give it back to me.

Ivan kept my top and accused me of stealing the top. He informed me that he will review the video footage from the store on Monday. He then requested my phone number and informed me that he will call me on Monday. I left the store upset, disappointed and humiliated. I later returned with the police.

The police officer informed Ivan that he needed to return my top to me and that he can not just keep it. Ivan informed them that I stole the top. The police officer asked to see the footage of Ivan's false accusation of me stealing the top. He informed the police officer that he could not show them the footage at that time and that he does not want me to return to the store.

This is my second review of this store. After my previous bad experience, I decided to return. It was 7:50 please 8/3 .m. and the dark-skinned woman with the red wig who was next to the Puerto Rican woman spoke to me very badly. She insulted me and said many rude things. She even told me to go and help my husband at my house because I simply asked her that I had forgotten my card in my car. Seriously, these people have two attitudes in the store. The manager needs to remove her from her job so they can learn to value having a decent job and treating people without racism. She treated me this way...

I want to Rainbow store in Brownsville so it was clean. It was a lady upstairs on the second floor she was doing inventory. Very nice lady. I found what I wanted and I left out the store. I see they talking about the manager was removed and he was a man when I went there it was a lady and she was very nice. I don't know if she was the manager or the clerk at the store I just know that she was a very nice lady and she really helped me pick out a nice outfit to wear for my surprise birthday party and I will go back and Shop there again when I need something...
