Pitkin Avenue Soul & Seafood — Restaurant in New York

The service (attitude and professionalism) was poor. One of the servers was cursing at a customer who apparently frequent the restaurant often. Even he commented on the language she was using. The other server prepared the wrong sides for me and then said I told her that’s what I wanted. Well if the music wasn’t so loud and she didn’t stop serving me to help someone else she would have gotten my order right! The servers were also slow. The food was bland and the prices posted in the restaurant and on their paper menu are not what the restaurant charges. When questioned about it the server replies that the prices are subject to change without notice as if I would know what the prices were before they changed. Then she informs me that prices posted on the menu inside the restaurant and on the paper menu are wrong and that I should add $3 to the listed price. Why aren’t the prices listed inside the store? Subject to change doesn’t mean to deceive the people by not posting the proper prices inside the store. Then on top of that when you use your debit/credit card they have the nerve to make you give a tip. That service deserved not even a penny. So not only am I spending well above what I’m expecting based off the menu prices but I couldn’t complete my transaction without leaving you a tip? The total was like I sat at in a dinning restaurant and she charged me for the sides that I she got wrong.I ordered three meals based on the prices posted, the total would have been decent. Friday 9/24/21 I ordered whiting fish, catfish, shrimp, scallops and fries. 3 orders totaling $45. We had took one or two bites before realizing the whiting and catfish was SPOILED ROTTEN - the most awful stomach turning stench came off of this fish. We prayed we did not get food poisoning. The shrimp was nasty. The scallops were rubbery, hard and nasty - we only got 3 when it was supposed to be 8 in the order.. The fries were good. Do not be fooled by the long line. My coworker picked me up a to go dinner with, what was supposed to be collard greens, mac n cheese and BBQ wings. She must've asked for the burnt special.
