Very good location, I’ve bought a couple pieces of furniture over the years from R&F so I know it’s reliable and sturdy (I recommend the microfiber fabrics over leather because they’re tougher and won’t have those crease lines and can generally take a beating in comparison). I visited this past Saturday and was assisted by Eric Mudick who was an absolute gem. He was very friendly and, most importantly, not pushy or detached from reality. He gave me every opportunity to explain exactly what I was looking for (down to the material and color and function of armchair-recliner) and he practically walked me hand-in-hand to the very chair I wound up purchasing. He showed that specific armchairs’ “competition” as well as cheaper and more affordable options, but I went with the Holden Microfiber Power Lift Recliner in the end. He detailed its functions and was extremely patient while my father and I discussed how we’d be able to even get the chair up the stairs and into the apartment, etc.. we must’ve sat on two nearby chairs and the one we wound up purchasing dozens of times. He generously explained that the delivery would include all facets of assembly as well as the chair arriving in two pieces to make it easier to carry up the stairs (we only have a 28 inch clearance). We even had to leave the store for a bit to mull things over and run an emergency errand and Eric gave us all his info and saved our info to his system for when we come back. We returned an hour and a half later to purchase the chair. The only tricky issue was the warranty for this item (a 5 year plan that covers damage and malfunctions and failures)… the price he initially quoted was the price from the website ($149.95)… but when the store manager came over, because she has to finalize approve all transactions, she was able to offer us at least $129.95 for the same five year plan. This ultimately sold us on it and we decided to go for it because there’s an added risk when mechanical/electrical components are involved. We were quickly checked out at the register and were even able to select a future date on which to receive the chair since Eric mentioned it would be available in 7 days (we need 14 to prepare some items). Overall, this was a very pleasant visit and Eric M. made it all the better. Thank you, Eric! Aside from that, this is a large location with ample parking and a Starbucks nearby if you want to grab a beverage to mull things over while shopping. There’s lots of cabinets and trolleys and tables here as well and the price ranges are more than adequate. We chose to come back to this location after visiting L@-Z-B*y and not being able to find anything as firm in the microfiber dept. nor so affordable (a similar chair in the other store would have been more than $1.5k over the the price of the chair I bought and would have taken 3-4 months for delivery for virtually the same thing… only difference is the other guys have more of a lifetime guarantee, but not all chairs can last/survive that long anyways). Basically, we should have come here from the start. Call ahead and schedule your...
Read moreSales person was great but the delivery situation is, lightly put, disappointing. We had ordered a bed frame and scheduled the delivery two weeks out for a weekend. We had spent Friday night and Saturday morning moving things out of the room and threw out the old bed frame preparing for their arrival (we were told at the time of purchase that they won’t help disassemble and the space needed to be ready) to then be told that they’re unable to deliver because of a parade, that they won’t try again later because we’re not by where their route ends, that they can’t deliver after a specific time the next day (only four hour window periods). Meanwhile, cars were getting through our street just fine, with just a bit of traffic. Delivery driver didn’t care to keep trying. Their supervisor had nothing to say other than “we can try again tomorrow” after repeatedly being told we work in the medical field and need a later/more precise time window, and then failed to call me back after saying he’d talk to the delivery guys. The store manager was “in a meeting but said we can cancel the order” without wanting to speak to me or even ask what had happened to lose such a sale. The parade passed maybe 10 min after the attempt. The lack of care and unwillingness to communicate/try to figure something out is baffling considering the amount of money their customers spend. Now in the afternoon of a Sunday, I have to go and find a bed frame so we can have something to sleep on and put things back into the room. If Raymour is the store you decide to order from, don’t be surprised if they do nothing but give excuses about deliveries and then ignore you when...
Read moreSpent $5500. After I got my items delivered, realized that mattress protector was not what I needed. Went back to the store to exchange it. The protector was in a sealed package, unopened, untouched. The store manager refused to exchange. Apparently, they don't accept any returns after it's delivered to you. I would not recommend to buy from them if the don't accept any returns and exchanges. There are millions of stores in this country who will never even question exchange for unused, sealed products. The delivery process was a shame. I was told it would be a white glove delivery. The delivery guys just tried to run in and out of my apartment. I purchased an adjustable firmness mattress which required a special set up. They didn't know anything about my mattress. At the store and I did question it, I was told my mattress will be set up by specialists and they know how to get it done. I ended up calling the official company. The corner of my newly renovated apartment wall was damaged and it was extremely uncomfortable to watch the guy just pulling and sliding agains the floor my 5000$ mattress. I guess I should be happy it was only the wall. My floor and mattress survived. Be very careful when you buy from them. They don't exchange or accept returns at all. I personally will never buy from them again. I can only imagine what they make people go through if they have problems with...
