The GOOD: The old Stop & Shop is a horror. Love the selection of Asian/Korean selection there. Definitely better selection but need more organic items. I love the new selection of fresh grocery in the middle. Love the seafood and lobster. The BAD: Prices are high!!! Organic raspberry small box is $10?! Rebel ice cream is $9?! Goat milk $19?! 3 zucchini in a package says $8.38!!! Seriously what are they selling!!! Sometimes the groceries have gone bad and its still on the shelf. Bought coconuts in a package that was slimy and funky odor. Got Arnold’s bread thin slice that expired 5 days ago. Many of the employees only speak Spanish. Every time I go there they charge me for the wrong item/price for the fresh groceries. Something is wrong there... they will charge me for beef steak tomatoe when I get tomatoe on the vine. They will charge me for a more expensive type of apple. Often they are just “hanging out”. One time this young employee was standing by the muffin and just biting her nail and chatting. It will be better if they actually managed the store. I have given it 9 months now to update my review.

Who's tired of meat that isn't fresh and doesn't have an expiration date on it. Meat that is not packaged correctly to prevent spoiling and leaks blood all over your other groceries in your shopping bag. Staff that is not helpful because most of them can't speak English they only speak Spanish. Staff that doesn't know how to ring up products correctly or change to sale prices. I for one, am sick of this store. We had better options for food and prices when Stop and Shop was here. This store charges way too high of prices for their products. I, out of curiosity, went on Aldi's site to see how much it would cost my family to eat the same products at food bazaar. Do you know that my total for five days was $82.27; while at food bazaar getting those same products for five days costs me $200.00 without taxes. They don't offer free paper bags or plastic bags for shoppers that only have EBT. I guess the poor is supposed to find a way to take their groceries home. If this store really cared about it's customers it would fix these issues and try to place themselves at a higher standard.

Terrible experience at the cashiers. First the breads in aisle 12 are all spoiled, and I saw several breads that were spoiled with the green stuff on them. The cashiers are all closed. Terrible management. I went to one aisle and they told us it was closed after we put all of our stuff on the conveyor belt. Then we went to the next cashier and they told us it was closed then they told us to go to a different cashier, which wasn’t even there. If the lights are on at the cash register, then the register should be on. I speak their language and they still didn’t understand. Then Security stands right next to us to watch us. As we are leaving to other people get online behind us, but they told another woman that it was closed. Then I asked why and the lady said that they work there. Why are there different rules for different people? The prices are the same as any other supermarket. This is not my first choice to shop. now I know why they have horrible ratings.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went food shopping this morning and bought 3 boxes of Bogota unsalted butter, after driving all the way home all 3 boxes of butter sticks were completely covered in black mold and stunk! I then had to load all 3 of my young children back into the car to drive all the way back and exchange it. I noticed all the same brand of butter was packed in the same box and obviously not going to buy it again if I know they are all bad and went with another brand of butter…. The manager then told me I can’t do that and I have to pay the difference in price. I had no problem paying the difference but after waiting 30+ minutes at a register with 3 kids crying they want to go home and no one is helping me i started to get annoyed. After 30 mins the woman finally comes, she helps 2 other customers looks me in the eyes and then leaves!!!! Now I’m standing there for almost an hour I asked the manager if I could leave the cash I owe on the counter I have to leave with my kids my 1 year old is screaming and crying he told me no and that I had to wait. Another 10 mins go by and she finally comes… the difference was $4.50 and I handed her a $5 bill… she then takes the money in SLOW MOTION and starts checking it and holding it up against the light and rolling her eyes and taking her time (I’ve never seen anyone check a 5 like that she was obviously being spiteful) … I told them to keep the .50 cents change and took my butter and walked out! I am so disappointed and angry, please take this as a warning and DO NOT SHOP HERE! I’ve had bread bought here that went bad in 48 hours, a pack of $23 chicken breast that was bought and opened the same day and the smell that came out was HORRIBLE! All of there produce is rotting on the shelves. I tried to give them a chance after stop and shop closed but it’s been a huge regret. They will not last like this do not waste your money on...

the worst management I have ever seen! Closing early whenever they see fit. There are only 2 reasons for that! The managers own Agenda or employees who pressure to go home early. Both point to a person who is not management material especially representing a chain of stores. To night the door were locked sometime b4 10:15. Other times it was 10 pm and closed. I am a business owner in the area and managed for years b4. It’s bad business when u have set hrs and customers who pay to take cabs and pubic transit only to find your close ahead of time without editing hrs. When you closed b4 your scheduled hrs. You stay until closing and then count out the register. As for my husband who speaks no Spanish he complains they say don’t speak English when he asks a question. When I know they do at the registers at least. I do want give credit to the 5 good employees I know they do have. I wish I knew there names because they are friendly with great customer service. I sure they do have more then 5 but I have not interacted with all of them yet. Lastly why is it that Coney Island location is the only location closing this early? Other locations are 24 hrs? Even Stop and shop was open until 12am only closed earlier for a short time due to Covid and stay at that time because they...

Omg this is so sad !!! What a downfall to when we had stop and shop. First of all the smell that hits you as soon as you walk in is disgusting .. the music is so loud and the lighting is so dim like what is going on with this place . They have everything mixed up baby cereal bar in one isle baby food in another . Annoying . Not only that this supermarket sells a whole lot of nothing !! I used to be able to do a full grocery in and out no problem but here ? You’ll spend more time looking for items then you actually do standing on line a lot of over sea stuff that just sits on the shelf taking up space . Not only that NONE OF THE WORKERS SPEAK ENGLISH . This neighborhood isn’t even all that Spanish it’s mixed up with black Chinese Russian and Spanish but everyone here is Spanish and doesn’t speak a word of English . Are you kidding me ? I can’t even ask a worker to help me find something because they don’t even know and they don’t even know English . Best of both worlds smh . And their prices are terrible !! you can find better sales less than a mile away from this place . This place really sucks and the workers do too . I hope it closes down soon because even when this spot was a path mark then stop and shop it was never ever this bad until food bazar...
