Cropsey Bagels — Restaurant in New York

Absolutely one of the best and cleanest Bagel shops in the area. When New Yorkers want a bagel we are very selective. We're not looking for a cheaply made bagel. We are looking for a bagel with substance with flavor with a nice dough as well as a great presentation. We need to know that when we're putting the cream cheese or the peanut butter and jelly or The lox spread or butter The bagel is going to hold up to the pressure of the spoons spreading it across. We want to know that that bagel is going to be still fresh and nice and ready for us when we finally get on the iron horse to get it to our destination. When we open up that brown bag an expose that bagel we want to smell the fresh baked bagel, we want to believe that what we're about to sink our teeth in is the best bagel in town and that we had been waiting to eat it since purchase. So this is the type of bagel place this place is. The one that anticipates the bite. They have your poppy seed bagels they have your everything, cinnamon, plain, garlic if they don't have it suggested simple and plain. These guys make it nice and easy for you to come in and get out, typical of us for New Yorkers always on the run Dunkin donuts have nothing on top of these guys when it comes to that slogan.Niw I have not tried other foods here so I can not say but one day I will right now I'm stuck in bagelllllllllls. I’ve come here too many times now not to write them a raving review (at least dozens of times possibly close to 100s because I come here for bagels and sandwiches - a lot in the summer for my Rockaway Beach day provisions - I don’t even live anywhere near this place so I go out of my way to get here, and it’s always worth it). I can say that ever since they’ve opened, their service and quality remain consistent. The staff is always so friendly and their food is always so fresh and so delicious. I would dare say it’s one of the best bagels and best deli sandwiches in all of NYC - any yes, I’ve been to many of them. Please don’t ever change, Cropsey!!...

I order from them at least 2 times a week for breakfast or brunch. Their bagels are really fresh and good. When they are busy I’m the morning the girls have an attitude and get your order wrong! A few times they put me on hold which I understand. The problem is then they completely missed my sandwich order and only gives me coffee. When mentioned they try to get into an argument to the point where we have to calm her down and say can I just order it. Their breakfast sandwich does cost more than a regular deli for sure.
