I just went here today. Joana did my nails and I'm very happy with them. If I still lived in Queens this would definitely be my go to place. It's new, clean and comfortable. They had incense lit for my stay and I enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of gel polish because I'm not the type to maintain my nails like that. Joana didn't push gel polish on me and I really appreciated it. She worked clean and fast. And she gave me a French manicure using regular light blue polish. She did let me see it in white first just to make sure I really wanted the blue. I called and made an appointment for a pedicure. I arrived 5 minutes after my appointment time and they had given the chair to someone else. I asked how long the wait would be and was told 30 mins. I wait 30 minutes and I ask- how much longer? She said only about 20 minutes. I waited a total of 40 minutes before leaving because I thought it was ridiculous to have to wait that long when an appointment is made. What’s the point of taking appointments? Just say it’s a walk in place only and that would prevent a situation like this to happen. I do want to note that the place did look clean and it seems to be family owned. Ever since I went here, my feet have turned so much darker because they used dish washer soap to wash my feet. I filed a complaint and they showed me extremely rude behavior. The color of my feet have turned completely close to black, and it looks as if my feet are burned. I returned to the salon and asked which soap they used and they showed me that the soap they used was dish washer soap. They showed extremely hostile behavior and I would not recommend this place to anyone at all if they don’t want their feet scrubbed with literal dish washer soap and return with their feet looking...
