I didnโt like how I was treated by the manager, the woman with the ponytail and wears glasses sometimes. I stated the wrong price on of my items, an honest mistake. The manager left to check the price, came back angry at me because I was wrong on the price. She said to me harshly, โNext time Iโm not going to hold up the line for you. Next time I wonโt listen to you. Iโll charge you the price I think it is.โ I was taken back by this response which felt like an infliction of punishment. So what if next time I was right and she was wrong? I donโt check my receipts often, but the few times that I did I noticed I was overcharged. Same thing happened to my friend who shops there. I understand honest mistakes can happen even to cashiers who have to memorize prices of the produce which can change often. From this managerโs view, it not ok for the customer to make mistakes. Instead, the customer will be met with contempt and belittlement. The cashiers themselves are sweet but they come and they go.
