This is a rare review that is not glowing, but I wanted to shared my experience. Staff were nice and welcoming when I got there for my bio-lift facial appointment. And sure, decor and ambiance are lovely as all the other reviews swoon over. Facialist (Dorothy) was nice enough but would sometimes talk over me and didn't seem too interested in listening. She made recommendations quickly. Recommended an extra $50 microdermabrasion for my congested forehead which I agreed to. I was surprised that she got into extractions quickly after cleansing as my skin didn't feel ready but I let her be the expert. The process was painless enough and massage was enjoyable. Afterwards, my forehead was sore and couple spots that had been fading were raw and much bigger. I thought this was normal and would fade after a day or two. When I got to check out, the products she recommended were at the register with the expectation that I would purchase. I felt pushed to buy and in a moment of belief that her recommendations would help, I bought 2 out of the 3 products. The next day however, I did not see noticeable improvements. The extracted pimples had gotten worse and started swelling with more fluid. I decided I had been using too many new products in my regime lately and went to exchange the items I had purchased for travel sizes since I wanted to test them first. This time, customer service was cold and unhelpful. I got one item (lotion P50 1970) in the smaller size but they didn't have the other (Masque Vivant) in any smaller sizes. I asked for a sample and the lady brusquely said she didn't have any (even though I know well there are samples of this item available). Mind you, I had already spent over $400 at this place. She acted like I was just trying to get free samples. Overall, customer service with the pressure to buy and cold reception when returning was a definite thumbs down. And for me, the facial was "meh." It's been over a week and those swollen extraction spots are only now going down and healing--and honestly my skin is not much softer, more glowing, or clearer... my forehead congestion has not gone away either. For me, this place was overpriced...

My recent encounter with this Rescue Spa left me feeling utterly disappointed due to a series of communication mishaps and closure mismanagement. Initially, I was approached by the Spa with an offer for a treatment, which piqued my interest. However, from that point onward, the experience rapidly deteriorate.
Upon attempting to clarify details about the treatment with the receptionist over the phone, I was met with confusion as she professed no knowledge of the offer. This lack of internal communication was alarming and raised doubts about the professionalism of the establishment.
Shortly after, I received a tardy apologetic voice message, purportedly from the marketing department, attempting to clarify the nature of the treatment. Despite these hurdles, I endeavored to proceed and scheduled the appointment as agreed. Upon receiving a message requesting confirmation, I promptly responded in the affirmative. Thus, it was with anticipation that I messaged the Spa on the day of the appointment to notify them of my impending arrival.
However, my optimism was swiftly replaced with disappointment when I was informed that the Rescue Spa was unexpectedly closed. This abrupt turn of events, without prior notice, was not only disconcerting but also highly inconvenient.
In summary, my experience with this Rescue Spa was marked by a lack of coordination, miscommunications, and an unacceptable closure confusion. As someone who had hoped for a rejuvenating and seamless experience, I was left deeply disappointed and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot worth the price. It's a lot of money for not a lot. They forgot about me pretty soon as I walked in the door for my facial appointment, and the esthetician I had didn't do all the things I had expected out of the facial. The extraction lasted almost no time and she barely got anything, and actually she completely inflamed a pimple of mine that is now a big red flaming dot on my face. She also criticized every step of my skin care routine, which I understand, but you can't make me feel bad for buying drugstore products. I'm a college student and this was a gift. I'm hoping to see the longer term results from this care, but the experience itself I don't think is worth it, and I believe you can get a higher level of care elsewhere for less $. I wasn't relaxed for the entire thing because of the criticism and I believe my esthetician didn't care as much because I made it known it was my first time. I also felt like it was more about selling products than the facial itself. Yet, when I came out of the room where the esthetician said she'd be there to walk me through the products used during the facial, she wasn't there at all, and I had no guidance as to what the next step (i.e. where do I go to pay, etc) were. However, I talked with friends of mine who receive facials regularly about the experience beforehand so I knew what I should've been getting into, and was assured after that my experience wasn't typical for normal facials. I'd love to make something like this a more regular part of my skincare regimen, but I'm not going to be...
