I come to this Rite Aid everyday because I live right down the block and what I experience coming here is that there's a all black staff and because they're they are all black I experience a lot of customers being very rude to the staff here the staff do everything they can to be professional. And it seems like the more professional the staff are to the customers the the more the customers become extremely rude and irate. The customers come to the store to rob the store everyday. If there's not a robbery going on there's people being extremely rude to the staff. customers being very rude for no apparent reason. and in my mind when I see that the staff of Rite Aid have to go through this I feel very bad for the staff. I see the employees doing the best they can to hold the Rite Aid brand and they're trying the best to keep rite aid open.I hear a lot of rude customers say to the Rite Aid staff that Rite Aid is going to close down and they're going to lose their job. I feel very sad for the staff because I guess it's the area and the area is urban so people think hey let me go to Rite Aid and try to attack the staff. I was i getting my medication and one of the pharmacy techs was doing the best that they can to assist one of the customers and out of nowhere to customer just got irate with the pharmacy technician and started to threaten them. I hope Rite Aid do something to protect the staff and their store because, this area it is very ghetto. area. What what is worse is that I hear a lot of people complain but when they come to Rite Aid they come with whatever problems they have in in their lives and expect the staff to solve all their problems is very very embarrassing and humiliating for the staff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into this location on Tuesday around 3:30-4:00pm to get my passport photo taken. My mother had visited the store 10 mins prior and asked a female employee if they do passport photos (at that time the employee was taking a photo of a young girl). So when I arrived we went to the passport photo area and waited for someone to ask if we needed help. Approximately 5 mintues went by without anyone asking us. Finally a female employee passed by and i was able to ask her for what we needed. That employee tells a female employee behind the register (the same woman who was taking the passport photos earlier) that we wanted to take our pictures. The girl pauses for a moment (as if she thinking, maybe she didnt want to leave the register because she had a long line) and says "The camera died". I than said "My mother came in here 10 mins ago and it was working. All of a sudden it died? This is ridiculous." Now i expect a camera to die but to give good customer service a good response would have been, the camera is dead right now but if you can wait 10-15 mintues, I'd be glad to help you. Instead as me and my mother were walking out, the employee that I originally asked for help felt the need to say " What u dont expect the camera to die?" In a rude and nasty tone. I than responded " No, what I expect is for you to charge it, if that's a service that you offer". This is not the first time that I've went into this store and had to wait on a long line or for someone to help me. This was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I will never visit this location again until they get employees with good customer service and more employees to work...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhatās the point of existing as a pharmacy if youāre unreachable and unresponsive? Iāve maybe called this location 200 times since I started getting my prescriptions filled there as itās by far the most convenient location to my apartment, and maybe have been answered 3 of those calls. Because Rite Aid uses an antiquated (and very tedious) system to get your prescriptions refilled, monitored and picked up, good luck getting any status updates or assurance that anything is actually happening with your medication (Iāve had times when Iāve shown up and they havenāt filled the prescription days after I received word that they did and can do nothing but waste 30 mins sitting and waiting for them to do so). Iām fairly sure they disable their phone lines - no one gets through. How messed up? Will be transferring my prescription to another location, which, low and behold, answered my call on instance #1. If the pharmaceutical industry is going under, great, it needs some kind of renaissance, because it doesnāt even feel far fetched to say it deserves to die a slow and painful death for all its various sins (and Iām not even religious šš). Though based on their appearance I assume theyāre closing...
