Walking into The Spot Cafe while randomly in the neighborhood was the best part of my day. The owner Luis is one of the best people I have ever met. Luis is a gentleman and an amazing human being! We had a great conversation, connection and the energy was incredible! You can tell Luis really cares about his community and the people all around that make up this neighborhood. The espresso was absolutely delicious! The employees were extremely friendly, professional and efficient! The ambience, atmosphere and aesthetic was extremely warm and comfortable, I am a huge fan of the great blue heron wallpaper! Just visited this amazing new gem that just opened last Friday—a cozy coffee spot and barbershop all in one, and Dominican-owned! From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The vibe is warm, and welcoming.

Third time’s the charm and I had to finally write this review. This coffee shop has completely stolen my heart, ughhh from the food, to the vibe, to the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. I love it here. The first time I visited, I was so indecisive, and one of the owners (I think one of the brothers) offered to whip up something he thought I’d like. What I got was this cinnamon flavored deliciousness that was beyond my expectations. The next time, I asked someone else for something similar, and even though it was different, it was still a thoughtful, creative drink that felt just as special. This time I went for Chai and the trust is already there. And the breakfast platter? It’s going to slap every time....
