Okay. So originally I wanted to be nice with my review because I love black business and I try to support but REAL HARD criticism is not a bad thing always so I have to be real. Im from the SOUTH! So I know good soul food! Since I been up here in NYC I havent had nothing nowhere NEAR the same as it is down south. When I ordered the FRIED catfish, it should be fried HARD AND CRUNCHY! Because its FRIED! Not BREADED SOGGY FISH! It should have great flavor, it doesnt have to be over seasoned though! With maybe a good beer batter! And a good sauce! I see him trying to flavor it good but i cant even put my finger on what seasoning he used, maybe he just used too much or something i dont know but it wasnt cohesive. Not something id want my seafood let alone anything be flavored like. Next, the collard greens. Pleaseeeeee start putting that youre putting pork in your greens for us people that dont eat pork sir. I been sick as hell after i found out it was pork in them after i ate alot of it already! The baked chicken and gravy, again what seasoning is this? And where is the gravy? And what flavor is this gravy? U dont have to overseason every little thing hun! The rice was so nasty I couldnt eat it. Money wasted. I spent 70$ and i could barely eat any of it. So im definitely not happy. The mac and cheese! Baby where is the cheese taste? Where is the cheese period?! All i tasted was some seasoned pasta! Wheres the 5 cheeses baby? The oreo cheesecake was good tho smh. Go to someone grandma kitchen in the south and learn some real southern food baby...
