Lady Moo Moo Ice Cream — Restaurant in New York

We try to make it to Moo Moo every weekend it’s open every year! The rotating menu brings something exciting to look forward to each week, and the vegan options (always 1 ice cream, 2 sorbets) are a nice choice when we want to mix things up. Portions are sizable to the point where I often get a kiddie scoop and it’s a decent portion to split with my toddler.

The line may be long, but the ice cream and friendly faces when you finally get to the window make it so worth it. There’s always great music bumping (last time we were there, it was all Sade), there’s a sweet gumball machine for the kids with a special incentive of a free scoop if you get the gold gumball, and they just installed retractable awnings to make waiting in the sun more bearable.

On top of the great ice cream and experience, Steve is a fantastic human who cares about the community. He always responds to my ridiculous Instagram messages, takes part in neighborhood initiatives like block parties and family days, and as made clear in his responses to reviews here, genuinely cares that everybody who visits has a quality experience. I’m so excited to see this team expanding the operation to a year-round location in Bushwick and look forward to bouncing...

Everything about this place is amazing. The ice cream is amazing. The service is amazing. But the personalities working here are the best part.

Steve the owner is always around which is really cool. Being able to speak with the person whose actually making this stuff makes u feel so close to the product. There’s also a longer-haired kid in the building whose name I can’t recall now, but he’s the one who usually serves me and always gives great suggestions on flavors.

And finally, the neighborhood the kiosk is in is predominately black, and LMM seems to simply fit right in because of how the employees are with the neighbors. They’ve even collaborated with restaurants like Bread Love to create communal flavors.

All in all this place is a gem and I bring all my homies here because I want to see it flourish. If your ever in our hood please stop by and have a scoop with some good folks. Also, the price point is RIDICULOUS. I tip every time simply because it feels too...

We are over the Moo Moon for Lady Moo Moo. The people who own and operate this wonderfully delicious ice cream shop are great. My son and I always like chopping it up with Steve when we go.

There is definitely an ice cream flavor for everyone, sprinkles and expresso to boot. Their moofagato (ice-cream with expresso) is a wonderful pick me up. They also have this Peter Pan Donut sandwich (think donut ice cream sandwiches) the donut changes I think weekly. I have had the good fortune (to my waist's dismay lol) to have had 2 and both were amazing. They also sell pints and tubs (yay) so you can take a scoop of heaven with you.
