I once heard someone describe Saint Seneca as "a nervous system reset" and she is SPOT ON! The store itself has a bright, inviting atmosphere, and it's filled with the most incredible selection of glassware, ceramics, candles, textiles, books, and more.
The owner, Yuka, has the most incredible creative eye. She selects such unique & special pieces, all of which she prices very fairly. More than that - she's truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet. A true staple of our wonderful community, Yuka has never met a stranger. She keeps a stool right by the counter for folks to pull up and chat. She offers dog treats & water to our four-legged friends. She's a joy to be around - so PLEASE go in and meet her if you're in the neighborhood!
Overall - Saint Seneca sparks joy in every sense of the word. Walk in, feel lighter, make new friends, and leave happier than when you entered.
With the holidays right around the corner - I cannot recommend a better shop for gift-giving to folks of all ages (babies, too!) If you can't make it in to the physical store - the website is equally as stunning!

Read moreI happened to be in Queens recently and stopped in this store to check it out. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but it looked like a cool place. As soon as you walk in the door you can feel the warm and inviting vibe. It's pretty obvious that there's been plenty of thought put into the inventory and layout. There's almost an art gallery feel to it without being pretentious. The staff is super friendly and there's no pressure to buy anything. I was just killing a little time and had no intention to make any purchases. Well, I left with a book, some shampoo for my dogs (which is all natural ingredients and smells amazing) and some grooming products for myself. They have lots of home decor products, books, jewelery, self care items, clothing. A really nice variety. They have a great website where you can purchase anything in the store but if you do that, you're really missing out on the personal experience. If you find yourself in the Queens area, do yourself a favor and pop in for a visit but be warned...you won't leave empty handed. I'll...
Read moreI don’t know I’ve never heard of or visited this store before today. However, I’m glad that I’m fully aware of its presence in Ridgewood. Saint Seneca has been around for awhile now. They were at their original and previous location for about six years. They have been at the new location for 1.5 years.
I was here for a private event and this store made me happy. The plant store section has a wonderful assortment of beautiful, healthy plants. I wanted to purchase one but knew that it wouldn’t last long with me.
The gallery section was pretty cool. However, my favorite part of the store was the main area where they sell lots of unique and cute goodies. It is so hard to choose an item to purchase because there are many options to choose from.
Staff and the owner were quite pleasant and ready to answer any questions. Stop by and visit Saint Seneca when you are in the neighborhood and I’m sure that you will glad that...
