I recently visited this Sephora location to find a specific product. Upon entering, I noticed that the only employees present were those at the registers and a security guard. I wasnât in line but approached a register to ask a quick question regarding the productâs location so I could locate it and leave. One of the employees, who appeared to be Hispanic with burgundy ombre wavy hair, noticed me but chose to assist the next customer in line instead of acknowledging my request. Despite seeing me first and hearing my question, she ignored me, which I found both rude and unprofessional.
I politely repeated my question a second and third time, but she continued to disregard me. Fortunately, a security guard observed the situation and stepped in to assist me. While I appreciated the guardâs help, I recognize that this was not their responsibility, as the Sephora employee should have handled my inquiry.
With the security guardâs help, I eventually found the product. When I later went to check out, I was assisted by another employee, who was both courteous and professional. She asked me, as is standard, who had helped me during my visit. I explained the situation and identified the employee who had ignored me. The cashier apologized sincerely and assured me that this was not reflective of Sephoraâs service standards. Her professionalism and kindness were a stark contrast to the earlier experience. Special shout out to the wonderful staff - unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the first saleswoman to help me but Stephen O, Lady and Veronica were all top notch! Thank you for the wonderful service! I'll be back :) 11/6/2024 - Always love shopping at this location. I picked up an eyeliner and eye pencil (Sephora brand). I absolutely LOVED the color of the eye pencil which looked almost turquoise. Special thank you to Anastasia who was a pleasure to deal with. I was excited to also pick up my early complimentary birthday gift and am looking forward to testing out those skincare products.

   Read moreI came in on Thursday to exchange a lipgloss my aunt bought me on Black Friday, when we asked the sales associate for the color, they accidentally gave us the lip plumper version instead of the regular version. All I wanted wasnât even exchange. It was explained to me that because my aunt used reward points for $10 off. I would need to pay the difference of $18. Thatâs absolutely insane. When all I wanted to do was change the item for the same exact color but without the lip pumper, the cashier said that she couldnât do it so she asked someone else that was next to her and do it. So I explained to her why would I spend $18 for the exchange when I could just keep the one that I was given and buy a new product for $18? Now I can leave with two products instead of one she didnât seem to understand what I was saying, so I went ahead and purchased the new product and kept the original. I called the store that my aunt original in and their manager said they would have no problem exchanging it when I got there unfortunately they were sold out of the color. So I am currently in New Jersey today and went to the Sephora in the mall and their manager had no problem, exchanging it for me either.
