I almost never write reviews but I felt that I needed to warn people before shopping here. And it's not as if this place is super horrible or the worst import snack shop I've been to, far from it actually, but its really bad at the same time. Now why is it so bad? well, there's a couple reasons. First, the cashier, who was the only guy in the store, was sorta polite but he also was a bit cold and watched me like a hawk while I was in the store, as if I was trying to steal, which was a little disconcerting. Second, a lot of the products in the store are overpriced as hell, and you feel ripped off buying things, especially the chocolate bars, which you can find in many other places for much better prices and value. Which is funny since this tiny store is so out of the way, it's almost not worth it to come here just for imported chocolate. Third, the worst problem is that MANY things at this store are way past their expiration date, which is gross, as there were some bars of chocolate sitting on the shelves from two years ago. The shopkeeper conveniently mentioned nothing about this, so it felt as if I was getting scammed a bit in the process. You could argue that it's my fault for not looking at the expiration date and purchasing it, but its quite shady to be selling expired candy when you should know its gone bad and put out fresh bars instead. However, as I said earlier, not everything is completely negative, and the drink selection at Shi Eurasia is really neat, they taste delicious, and the beverages aren't expired. Despite half of the stuff I purchased tasting gross and being expired, (one Japanese Nestle Crunch was literally crushed powder and a year and a half past its date), a select few items were totally fine and yummy, so maybe venture over here for quick look around once, but make sure to be very wary of the expiration dates, and from then on you should look elsewhere for these kinds of things. This place isn't worth more...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem, I can’t tell you how many times I walked by before I realized what an interesting store that was right in front of me this entire time. Its a small quiet shop that has a whole bunch of new things that I find myself continuously going back at least once a week. Not only that, but the employees are wonderful and super helpful. You would not regret going...
Read moreThey sold us a product that was more than a year past expired. Tasted like expired cheese. Unethical. Be sure to look at the expired dates on the packaged goods. For the product we got, the ink had been rubbed off. You had to look really close to see the expiration date. A tell tale sign we should have noticed sooner was multiple old price stickers that was beneath the current...
