Y'all, this was a long one. So I was flying from New York to California. This is around the time that all of the flights were having some problems. Not exactly sure what, but I know Spirit Airline was deeply affected and I guess that's bill over affected other airlines as well. My first flight was completely delayed for 2 hours which meant I missed my next flight. I was stuck at the Chicago airport for well over five hours and was given the runaround. Constantly told that another flight to take me, only to find out they cannot. I was finally able to get someone on the phone to get me a flight to get to California. The only reason I'm giving this for stars instead of one is because of that person on the phone. He could understand my frustration and quickly solved my problem. But the people inside of the airline we're not the most helpful. The people at Chicago I should say, the people at New York and in Oakland California where I ended were actually quite kind and understanding, and make sure that my things were safe as my luggage got on the flight that I did not. Guess where my luggage got on the flight at that I was unable to get on the flight? Chicago! If there's ever a way for me to avoid a location I will make sure I never go to Chicago again. They were absolutely the worst people I could ever imagine working with. Literally not helping me at all and causing more problems than anything. If I could say worse I would, but I guess I have more morals...
Read moreHorrible Customer Service experience with this airline at LaGuardia airport for a holiday trip to meet family in Kansas on December 25, 2022. They kept delaying our flight for hours without any reason. Customer service agent at the LaGuardia airport was rude and showed no empathy for us. She didn't know the reason for the delay and she didn't know when the last flight was for the night. She kept complaining about how she was working for so many hours and didn't care for our frustration with a 6 year old for 10 hours. She took her sweet time processing a voucher and booking a flight for another day and to get our checked in bags. She was busy talking on the phone and other customers. Then after 30 minutes all of a sudden she said the flight was cancelled and processed our refund quickly. When we wanted to speak with the supervisor she started talking to him first instead of letting us talk and told him it was our fault that we wanted the refund. The supervisor took her side and told us they can't do anything as the refund was processed since that's what we wanted and moved to the next customer. I have never experienced this kind of rudeness and discrimination by any other airline. The lady intentionally took her time and blamed everything on us. This airline was recommended by a friend, however, I will never fly...
