While I hate the idea of taking business away from the hard working staff the lack of quality control is enough to sternly warn anyone away from this place. I understand that the bar is low for most of not all airport food but this place sets a new trend of unpalatable cuisine. I've had better overcooked microwavable meals. For measure I ordered the Maple Syrup Old Fashioned that was sweeter than diabetes. I hate sending stuff but the bartender happily complied and made me a solid drink. I was pleased and my faith was restored. For food I ordered the burger MEDIUM RARE. What I got was a dry brownish hockey puck in a bun. Honestly the pickle slices were as big as the 'burger' disk. I was shocked to the point of amusement. To avoid seeming like the difficult customer I quietly pulled the manager to the side to request a remake. She was sweet and accommodating. Problem solved, right.......? What came out after all this back and forth was the same greyish brown disk, but with a texture that felt raw. Not only was I hungry but now I was angry. I tried to bite in convinced my hunger would overtake my aggravation but after another upsetting mouthful I threw in the towel. This time the manager was not so nice. However I'd rather be a nuisance than curled over with a belly full of disgusting food. I told them to charge me for the fries and the drink although none of it was worth a fraction of the price. If you decide to eat here after reading this review, the joke is on you! Avoid at all costs.

Horrible service, fries with side of plastic packaging, food taste like airport food. The decor would be nice. I came at 10:15 am, was guaranteed I could get the breakfast menu which ends at 10:30. Of course no waiter came to take my order. At 10:26 I started walking around looking for a waiter, but nobody was on the floor. When finally a waiter came out from the kitchen, it’s was 10:29 and I was told that it was too late to order breakfast. Of course, I was a bit upset and after various complaints I was granted “an exception”, which means honoring what they advertised. I asked for this simplest item, eggs breakfast, which costs a whopping 17$ without tax and tip. However I asked for no bacon and egg whites instead of full eggs. I was told it was not possible. The dish came out with very soggy bacon, which is ok because I didn’t want it anyways. Interesting that they could not omit on item from the dish. I guess it requires too much micro management for their system? Also, there was a big piece of plastic packaging with my fries, that you can see in the pictures. The packaging seemed cooked and seasoned well, but I did not taste it because I’m following a strict diet of edible food. I had better service in street stands outside the airport.

The service was exceptional (5 stars), but the breakfast was just average (3 stars). Frida was friendly and efficient. She brought us water, and filled our water bottles with ice and water. She took our orders, and someone else brought out our 2 egg, bacon, toast and home fries breakfasts expeditiously. She gave us our check when we requested it, and we tipped her 25% for excellent service! The breakfasts were good, but the food was warm - not hot. We asked for crispy home fries, but they were the usual fare. The bacon was extra crispy and the scrambled eggs were well done. We forgot to ask for limp bacon and barely cooked scrambled eggs. But would it have mattered in light of the average - not crisp - home fries? The restaurant is very nice. It’s one of several new ones in terminal B that we were not familiar with. We ate and relaxed before walking to our gate. On the way to Gate 56 we saw 2 more newer restaurants that we’ll try next time.

On a trip that put me through LGA twice, I happened to eat at Mulberry Street twice. Coincidentally, I had the same waitress (Nasima) both times.

Nasima was minimalistic and unfriendly. Let me explain: minimalistic = she did the minimum and I had to look for her for anything that I needed. Unfriendly = she was cold, impersonal and had no personality or joy in her work.

The first time she served me, I thought that she was having a bad day. The second time (one month later), I realized that this is who she was and that she was allowed to stay employed although her manager was clearly aware of her attitude when I spoke to him. He told me that they were planning "some training" for all of their staff.

As I was leaving the restaurant on 10/31, I walked past the front podium in which two sets of customers were waiting to be seated and a young man (employee) walked up to the podium to get something (he wasn't the true host) and barked at the people standing there to get their own table. They were visibly shocked by his tone/voice, but obeyed and looked for their own table. I mention this second person as there is a culture of rudeness at this restaurant that is beyond one person.

Managers/leaders of Mulberry Street, please know that yours is not the only place to eat, even at the airport. Get your staff together and remind them that they are in the...

Absolutely pitiful. My wife and I stopped in while waiting for our flight. We sat ourselves per the waiter and ordered via the app that is placed on the table. My receipt ($110) hit my text message at 10:59. By 11:20, we still had not received our cocktails, nor our other soft drinks that we ordered with our meal. My wife went up about 11:10 and saw her cocktail sitting on the bar and the staff said "we're making the other one". I found the manager at 11:20 and told him I wanted my money back. They then tried to bring us our cocktails, but still no soft drinks, etc. The manager stuttered and stumbled and acted like he couldn't give me my money back. I demanded my money back and he went in the back for a few minutes and came back out and showed me that the "app order" did not hit their system until 11:14. I still asked for my money back - as it was getting close to time for us to board our flight home. He said that my refund would be sent to my email shortly. Guess what - NO REFUND! I will be disputing my charge with AMX and I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST ANYONE AT LAGUARDIA NOT STOP AT THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS. Had I seen the other reviews prior to stopping, I would not have stopped. This is a poor excuse for a NYC restaurant in a nicely renovated LaGuardia Terminal. Piss poor doesn't even get close to how bad...
