Can't blame myself for wanting to experience the best my money has to offer me. So after getting reasonable tickets to a family celebration in Atlanta Georgia... How could I resist?
So 5 tickets were purchased to support my cousin at her graduation ceremony from Spelman College in the heart of Atlanta.
Being this was our first time traveling with Frontier Airlines, our hearts pounded with anticipation of good things to come ...... boy were we disappointed ☹️.
Now, we knew those tickets were too good to be true. After hearing those carry-on fees, we all might as well been admitted to a nearby hospital for heart failure. They were ridiculous!!! 😭 We paid almost $400 for 4 pieces of 20" carry-on luggage...$96 each. Not to exaggerate, our return flight on May 20, 2024, the carry-on fees were even worst😳.... A total of $108 per piece...Now you see why we were suddenly needing resuscitation?
Most of us might know that good customer service is a skill that has to be acquired. A skill that becomes better after years of experience. So the flight attendant who greeted us with an ice coffee that was dripping all over my arms and seat, has still yet to master this skill.
Her constant bickering about her personal affairs to a fellow coworker, should have been kept on the down low. Her boisterous laugh with disregard for her customers, clearly proved good customer service etiquette or self control was not a skill she possessed....
So thank you Frontier Airlines for the terrible service you gave.....As another customer blurted out ..."Even a free glass of water" would have been nice when we were delayed at "Hartford International Airport" for almost 45 minutes after landing........ I guess spending my $4.39 for a Coca Cola is a way to reassure myself I can do better. So you really deserve a 1 star⭐...

Read moreChristmas morning, a flight operated by Frontier Airlines F493 that was scheduled for 11:30am went horribly wrong. As one of the passengers of this flight, I have to say it was unpleasant, uncertain and tormenting. We were delayed by 8 hours and then the flight was canceled. At first, we were delayed by two hours and given another aircraft. Then we went out to the departing zone and were told there was an issue with the oxygen tank. We went back and waited for a mechanic. The mechanic claimed everything was fixed. After getting to the runway again, the pilot announced there was still an issue and we had to go back yet again. This same situation repeated another time. So after attempting to take off 3 times, we get back to the gate and are told to leave the aircraft. At the gate, one of Frontier’s staff members with a high voice is left alone to give updates to an angry mob. They tell us to go to the ticket check in counter to claim refunds and free hotel accommodations for the night. At the counter, stand 4 employees who have absolutely no guidance or authority to help us. On top of all this, they say they are overworked since they started their shift at 6am. It’s clearly not their fault. However, there is an frustrated crowd of people shouting at them to fix the issue. Where is the Frontier Airlines management?! Shortly after, the employees announce if you live in the US, there is no free hotel accommodation available. We had to pay $80 each way for Uber rides to the airport and back. We bought $70 worth of food for two people. We had to book a hotel for $120 for the night. Are we getting reimbursed for any of these fees?
