I left this location about 5 min ago to catch a flight. Orders a salad and a drink. The drink glass had black residue inside the glass that the server said was a result of the glasses being in the chiller then coming into contact with alcoholâŚâŚ. I asked for it to be remade to make sure as this doesnât happen at any other place with a chiller (also the glass wasnât cool to the touch when I received it). The salad was fine the first few bites then I got grittiness and found the leaves not fully washed with dirt/sand at the base of a leaf I was biting into and even more on another leave stem base. Sent back and was told numerous times it was taken off my check. The tab I started was not updated so I went to pay at the register with my card and the server told me she had already closed my tab meaning without me signing, tipping, nothing. I asked again are we sure Iâve paid because the tab on my phone says itâs open and she said yes. I get to my gate and get the text saying my tab was closed and lo and behold it has me charged for the salad I took one leaf from and sent back. I was looking for a sit down place that wasnât packed - I should have taken that as a signâŚ.
The waitress had us pick our table and handed us menus. On every table, there is a QR code that says, âScan to Order & Pay.â Before the waitress came back, I ordered and paid for my food using the QR code. When she returned, she said the QR doesnât work and Iâll have to pay the traditional way (card reader brought to the table). I checked my account and I had been charged for the order placed prior to her return. The waitress claimed that it will be suspended, but given the lack of upfront communication, Iâm very skeptical.
Prior to receiving our food, the waitress came back with the card reader expecting me to pay. I said Iâm not paying until we receive the food and will tip accordingly, but I will not preemptively tip given our first interaction. She tried to say it was protocol, however Iâve never been to a sit down restaurant where you tip beforehand.
Food was mediocre - to be expected to airport food.

I ordered the baratta flat bread, which, from the description, I thought was going to be a pizza. It was actually a large piece of mozzarella surrounded by 4 slices of what seemed to be stale pita? I believe the cheese had been previously frozen because it was very watery and didnât have any flavor at all. It was most confusing.
